The Islamic Republic is continuing its war on the people of Iran. But Iranians are fighting back.

Yesterday in Esfahan, citizens noticed the regime was preparing for a barbaric public execution. Reports circulated that the regime was set to hang three protesters from the January 8/9 uprising.

At dawn, hundreds of brave Iranians gathered in the square to protest this medieval brutality and public murder. They jeered and shouted at the executioners. Sadly as the call to prayer played, two young men were hung from cranes.

Security forces chased the protesters, firing on them with live ammunition, trying to kill more and more Iranians.

The murder of protesters and other political prisoners are often done in prisons. But the regime, fearing the Iranian people will rise against them, is conducting them in public in an attempt to intimidate them into silence.

Untold other brave protesters are currently facing a similar fate. Their lives hang in the balance.

This is two Irans: the vile and evil Islamic Republic against the brave and heroic people of Iran.

Iranians will not back down. They will fight. But they should not have to fight alone. The world must back these brave men and women.

Iranians in Spain gather outside the occupied Iranian embassy in Madrid to protest the execution of Abolfazl Sepahi Badjani and Amirhossein Safari Hosseinabadi in Isfahan.

Eight other detainees in the same case now face the immediate threat of execution by the brutal regime.

The international community must not remain silent. Governments, human rights organizations, and democratic institutions must urgently increase pressure on the Islamic Republic and use every available means to stop its machinery of execution and killing.

Be their voice, before it is too late.

طی چند ماه اخیر، ایالات متحده سرمایه‌گذاری عظیمی روی محمدباقر قالیباف انجام داده است؛ از حذف رقبایش و محافظت از او در برابر حذف توسط اسرائیل، تا بی‌اعتنایی به مخالفان جمهوری اسلامی و تمجید از او، اعزام مقامات ارشد آمریکایی برای تثبیت جایگاهش به‌عنوان رهبر بالفعل کشور، و ارائه یک یادداشت تفاهم بسیار سخاوتمندانه.

همه این اقدامات با این امید انجام شد که تحکیم قدرت قالیباف، نتایج مطلوب واشنگتن را به همراه داشته باشد.

اما این سرمایه‌گذاری نتیجه‌ای در بر نداشته است. قالیباف نتوانسته انتظارات واشنگتن را برآورده کند.

زمان عبور از قالیباف فرا رسیده است.

Known affectionately by many as “Amoo Lindsey” (Uncle Lindsey), Senator Graham earned the trust and admiration of Iranians by consistently standing with them in their struggle for freedom.

The op-ed recalls Senator Graham’s appearance before 250,000 Iranians at the Munich rally in February, where he declared, “I choose the Iranian people over the murderous ayatollah.”

This growing wave of executions is a sign of an increasingly desperate regime - that has lost all legitimacy.

But despite enormous risk to their own lives, the people of Isfahan proved that the Islamic Republic's campaign of terror is failing. Risking bullets, imprisonment, and death, ordinary citizens gathered in Alikhani Square in a heroic attempt to stop these executions. Their courage showed that fear has given way to defiance.

The gallows will not save the Islamic Republic. A people willing to stand unarmed before bullets and execution to protect one another cannot be defeated.

در کنار خانواده‌های دو جاویدنام راه میهن، ابوالفضل سپاهی و امیرحسین صفری می‌ایستیم. مطمئن باشید که آمران و عاملان این قتل به دست عدالت سپرده و مجازات خواهند شد.

جان دست‌کم هشت بازداشت‌شده دیگر این پرونده همچنان در خطر فوری است. سکوت نکنیم. صدای آنان باشیم. از تمام ابزارهای ممکن برای افزایش فشار بین‌المللی و توقف ماشین اعدام و کشتار جمهوری اسلامی استفاده کنیم.

Tasnim News Agency, which is affiliated with the IRGC, published a video about the whereabouts and daily movements of Melania Trump, the wife of the U.S. president, encouraging supporters of the Islamic Republic to kill her.

The video identifies Melania Trump’s frequent locations, her favourite places, and the shops where she makes purchases.

At the end of the Tasnim video, Barron, Donald Trump’s son, is also threatened. Addressing him directly, the narrator says: “He should be waiting for us.”

تجمع ایرانیان دانمارک در کپنهاگ در آستانه سالروز درگذشت محمدرضا شاه پهلوی و گرامی‌داشت یاد و میراث پادشاه فقید ایران.

محمدرضا شاه پهلوی پنجم مرداد ۱۳۵۹ در قاهره چشم از جهان فروبست و در مسجد الرفاعی این شهر به خاک سپرده شد.

Iran is not Iraq. Iran is not Libya. And treating it as though it were is a profound strategic mistake.

In my new article for @Jerusalem_Post , I examine the increasingly common argument that the fall of the Islamic Republic would inevitably produce another failed Middle Eastern state.

Iraq and Libya were 20th-century constructs. Prior to the 20th century, neither existed as a unified nation-state. Applying the Iraq or Libya framework to Iran is therefore not only historically inaccurate, but a severe strategic mistake.

Georg Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel famously described Iran as the first historical state in the world. Iran is a society with deep institutional memory, national consciousness, and a shared, deeply rooted understanding of sovereignty.

This matters immensely, because durable political transformation depends on historical continuity, not invention.

Iran has lived political modernity before. It does not need to invent it from scratch, it needs to restore it.

Prince Reza Pahlavi embodies this experienced future, directly connecting Iran’s deep historical experience to a Western-aligned, stable tomorrow. This continuity is not merely theoretical, it is visible today in the national unity expressed inside Iran and across its global diaspora.

Different foundations produce different outcomes. Iran’s future should not be judged through the failures of Iraq and Libya.

چرا ایران لیبی نمی شود.

در مقاله جدیدم در Jerusalem Post به این موضوع پرداخته‌ام که چرا مقایسه آینده ایران با عراق و لیبی یک خطای تاریخی و راهبردی است.

عراق و لیبی، کشورهای ساخته شده در قرن بیستم هستند، اما ایران یک ملت ـ دولت تاریخی با هزاران سال تداوم فرهنگی، هویت ملی و تجربه دولت‌داری است. هگل، فیلسوف آلمانی، ایران را نخستین دولت‌ تاریخی جهان می‌دانست.

تفاوت در همین‌جاست: ایران مانند عراق و لیبی نیازمند ساختن یک هویت ملی از صفر نیست. ایران دارای حافظه تاریخی و پیوندهای ملی است. آینده ایران بر پایه بازسازی این تجربه تاریخی شکل خواهد گرفت.

ایران پیش از سال ۱۳۵۷ تجربه توسعه، نهادهای مدرن و ارتباط گسترده با جهان را داشت. مسئله امروز ایران، بازگشت به مسیر یک کشور آزاد، مستقل و مدرن است و‌ نه ساختن چیزی که‌ پیشتر وجود نداشت مانند عراق و لیبی.

انقلاب ملی شیر و خورشید در دی ماه نشان داد که هویت ملی ایرانیان تعیین کننده ترین نیرو در تحولات ایران است. از تبریز، بزرگ‌ترین شهر آذربایجان، تا کرمانشاه، بزرگ‌ترین شهر کردنشین، شعارهای ملی و حمایت از شاهزاده رضا پهلوی نشان‌دهنده اهمیت هویت ملی در آینده ایران است.

شاهزاده رضا پهلوی، نماد یک «آینده تجربه شده» و پیوند میان تجربه تاریخی ایران و آینده‌ای است که بر آزادی، ثبات، سکولاریسم و رابطه با جهان آزاد استوار است.

مقاله همچنین به نقش ایرانیان خارج از کشور اشاره می‌کند؛ جامعه‌ای که در کنار اعتراضات داخل ایران، صدای مردم ایران در جهان بوده و تصویری از یک ایران آزاد، مدرن و آینده‌نگر را نمایندگی می‌کند.

آینده ایران را نباید با شکست عراق و لیبی قضاوت کرد. تفاوت در تاریخ، هویت ملی و ظرفیت‌های اجتماعی ایران است.

پایان جمهوری اسلامی و شکل‌گیری یک ایران آزاد و مستقل، از نگاه این تحلیل، برای ثبات منطقه و امنیت ملی آمریکا نیز اهمیت راهبردی دارد.
