Today, I had the privilege of attending an Educational Conference in my hometown at Government Shaheed Ayub Degree College, Buleda. Our youth are the greatest asset and the future of our society. The young people of Balochistan need education, skills, employment and opportunities, not violence or hopelessness. Parents & teachers have a vital role to play in guiding our youth towards positive and constructive activities, while also creating awareness about the responsible use of social media. The lasting solution to Balochistan’s challenges lies not in violence, but in education, development, political and democratic engagement, dialogue, and bringing our youth into the national mainstream. It is our collective responsibility to secure peaceful, dignified and prosperous future for the young people of Balochistan.

Inaugurating the Turbat-Buleda route bus of the University of Turbat along with Governor Sheikh Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Minister for Education Raheela Durrani, Parliamentary Secretary Haji Barkat Rind, and Secretary Colleges & Higher Education Saleh Mohammad Baloch. This initiative is another milestone & facility for students of Buleda to commute daily between their hometown and the University of Turbat. Education remains the top priority for human development in the region.

Honoured to attend the 3rd Convocation of Turbat University, presided over by the Governor of Balochistan & Chancellor of Universities Sheik Jaffar Khan Mandokhail. It was heartening to see graduating students filled with dreams & aspirations to serve this province and the entire country. Under the leadership of VC Dr. Gul Hassan, the university has emerged as a symbol of quality education, contributing significantly to human development across the region. Congratulations to the students, their parents, faculty, and staff on the successful convocation. Hopeful that the university will continue to reach greater heights of success in the years to come.

Held a meeting with the Education Department regarding the induction of 519 internees/teachers, 335 from Awaran district and 182 from Kech district of my constituency, in line with the follow-up of the Cabinet decision. These inductions will help bring back around 1,200 students in my constituency and enroll nearly 5,000 out-of-school children in Awaran district. The Balochistan Education Foundation has been asked to immediately prepare and submit a summary for the induction and placement of these teachers.

یہ 33 کلومیٹر کاسڑک جو کہ تربت اور بلیدہ کو وسطی مکران پہاڑی سلسلے سے گزر کر ملاتی ہے، 2010 میں کنسٹرکشن ایند ورکس ڈیپارٹمںنٹ 1998 شیڈیول ریٹس کے مطابق شروع ہوئی، متعدد دہشت گردی کے واقعات اور اس کے نتیجے میں کئی مزدوروں اور ایف سی کے جوانوں کی شہادت کے باوجود مکمل ہوئی ہے۔ اس کی تخمینہ لاگت 2.8 ارب ہے۔ جس سے لوگ تین گھنٹے کا سفر پونے گھنٹے میں طے کرتے ہیں۔ ایف سی کے اہلکاروں نے اپنی جانوں کی قربانی دے کر کئی حملوں کو ناکام بنایا، انجنئرز اور ٹھیکداروں نے سیکورٹی کی مخدوش صورتحال کے باوجود اتنے محدود وسائل میں بہترین سڑک بنانے پر داد کے مستحق ہیں،

Cabinet Sub-committee on amendment of Balochistan Universities Act 2022 held its third & final meeting in which Chairman HEC Dr. Mukhtar Ahmed also participated and gave his valuable inputs. Sub-Committee has finalised its proposed amendments which will be placed in forthcoming Cabinet meeting and subsequently tabled before Provincial Assembly for final approval.
