NY10 is so lucky to have organizations like @HamiltonMadison providing mental health care to families. I was honored to celebrate with them tonight on behalf of @RepDanGoldman who is so proud to call them a partner.
Thank you to all the Supporters of @HamiltonMadison 's 44th Annual #JuneLeeBanquet honoree's @softswervenyc and Jennifer Wu, Esq. - we're honored to recognize your work and contributions to the AANHPI and Chinatown community. To my dear friends who shared a laugh and a great evening, thank you !
With NYC facing pre-K and daycare shortages, I'm proud to have secured $1.4 million for @HamiltonMadison’s free childhood education programs.
Affordable child care is essential not only for families but also for the economy.
I'll keep pushing to make it a reality nationwide.
TOMORROW! Join us at 50 Madison Street from 3-5pm for a Mental Health Awareness Event during AAPI Heritage Month. The event is completely FREE to join and the first 100 attendees will be entered to win RAFFLE PRIZES! Share this post, tell a friend and we hope to see you there!
We are so grateful to @RepDanGoldman for allocating these funds for the repair of 10 Catherine Slip, a Childcare and Family Support Center that has been closed since Hurricane Sandy. It will make a huge difference in the lives of Lower East Side families!
Hamilton-Madison House’s Childcare and Family Support Center at NYCHA Smith Houses has been closed since Hurricane Sandy.
After 12 years, I was proud to be able to secure the funds they need for repairs to resume serving the LES again.
We are proud of our Hamilton-Madison House staff that traveled to Albany to testify on behalf of Lower East Side community members and their needs! Thank you to @AAFederation for this recognition.
We urge @NYCCouncil to invest in mental healthcare models like Roundtable's that has connected 13k+ Asian NYers to culturally & linguistically appropriate care. Thank you @CMLindaLee, @Lynn4NYC, @CMMercedesCD46 & @JustinBrannan for the opportunity to testify on this issue.
CBOs like our partners on the Asian American Mental Health Roundtable are an integral part of the City's mental healthcare ecosystem & Asian NYers often turn to us first for care in the languages and cultures they speak. But without proper funding our CBOs can't meet that demand.
AAF's Daphne Thammasila testified at yesterday's FY25 Executive Budget Hearing on the urgent need to fund community-based mental health providers in order to support Asian New Yorkers who continue to grapple with anxiety, fear, and anti-Asian violence.
We are so proud of our Smith NORC Program Director, Mariely Cerda, MSW and are so excited to share these amazing videos of her and her family, featured on PBS 13! Thank you Mariely for all you do❤️

It was even a brighter honor to present Isabel with a Congressional Citation for the work they all do.

Earlier today, our #SYEP interns visited @HamiltonMadison Knickerbocker NORC in Manhattan to distribute Farmers Market Nutrition coupon books.
This program provides nutritious food to older adults, and we showed our interns the positive impact we have across #NYC.

Incredible turnout today at our Knickerbocker Village SCRIE & DRIE sign up event! Thank you so much to @HamiltonMadison, @VOLSProBono, @NYCFinance, and @NYCHousing for helping make this happen and helping so many residents sign up to freeze their rent.
Dozens of nonprofit executives camped out at City Hall Wednesday night to rally for higher pay and end government-sanctioned poverty wages.
