It is just extraordinary- from the very start of this clip - that every element of solemnity around him - the dark clothes, the medals and the rest - will require him to take the limelight and stage a scene from Mr.Bean.
I'm making my choices to protect my mental health. In 2018 I was in a very dark place. I didn't survive that, to live with this hanging over my head. So I'm loosing my property. @BorisJohnson@RobertJenrick @MainstayLtd @Redrow
📢 Birmingham leaseholders: If you have a flat with cladding issues please sign this petition to ban developers starting new work until they’ve fixed their defective buildings! @BrumLag@EOCS_Official https://t.co/maYPySManJ
Cladding victims ‘let down by the system.’ After fleeing Syria to escape the war Bassel Deeb gained asylum, saved for a flat in UK, only to find out it has flammable cladding & he’s liable for the cost.Great work by @PhilH23 to tell Bassel’s story. https://t.co/SwhPMGagEa
The fact Diane Abbott got more stick for drinking a can of mojito on a train than Boris Johnson giving his 'lover' £126k of tax payers money makes me sick.
Love how @mhclg and their simps (@GregHands et al) feign disgust when a boat race has to be rerouted, but can't bring themselves to legislate for justice for leaseholders.
It's simple:
- Make the 'polluters' (party donors) pay
- Protect the innocent
- #EndOurCladdingScandal
Labour in Hammersmith & Fulham said that they wanted to make history, when they were elected in 2014.
Their incompetence over #hammersmithbridge has moved an iconic, world-famous 180-year old sporting fixture.
Now they are making history.
@OliverDowden@RobertJenrick
Incredible.
@ChrisClarksonMP is the love child of the turkey who voted for Christmas, and the farmer who wrung its neck.
Not so much a wolf in sheep's clothing as the product of a wolf-sheep union who is prepared to both eat his fellow sheep, and be eaten by his fellow wolves.
Wow.
1) Leaseholders are taxpayers.
2) Leaseholders are not asking for taxpayers to pay.
3) What about the old dictum 'polluter pays'?
4) What about the new, but equally sacrosanct dictum, #GeoffreyCliftonBrownisabellend?
One of the most outrageous Tory MP replies I’ve received to date, suggesting we took this risk by buying a flat so more fool us. Geoffrey Clifton-Brown @Conservatives#EndOurCladdingScandal
As the 100% official and real Twitter account for the real #HammersmithBridge, I agree with this 100%, @LeedsVictim.
I'm sure @team_greenhalgh wouldn't want to be seen as a hypocrite who feigns indignation for political gain.
As @team_greenhalgh is happy for Leaseholders to be charged £50p.m. for cladding costs with hundreds of thousands of us going bankrupt I’m sure he’s delighted by the solution of a toll for @HammersmithBri4.

I'm afraid Greeny has made his bed and will lie in it. Isn't that right, @team_greenhalgh?
It will be a rather crowded bed: party donors; developers; his fellow @mhclg cronies, traitors of the people and purveyors of state-corporate corruption.
He will feel right at home.
@ChrisPincher @HousingAPPG I think @team_greenhalgh needs some motivation frm you @ChrisPincher. I think he has realised that he is being thrown under the bus by you & @RobertJenrick. He just wants to go back to @HammersmithBri4 and forget all his troubles 😢
@artaylors@liamyoung Funny you should talk about the law as the freedom of association is 1 of our fundamental human rights... @team_greenhalgh & co were allowed to protest about @HammersmithBri4 but we are not allowed to protest about women's (lack of) safety just doing ordinary things
@metpoliceuk
We had our monthly meeting with our freeholder today, who advised our developer @CountrysideProp are not taking full responsibility for remedial works in their proposals. It seems works are split into two categories:
A very fetching colour, if I do say so myself. I did find myself doing the bridge equivalent of pouting when I caught my reflection in the Thames all lit up like that.
There is of course a more pressing building related issue at hand though...
#endourcladdingscandal
#WheresJenrick?
I've found him!
At least I think the gibbering, crumpled suit hiding under me is @RobertJenrick.
He has a thousand-yard stare, and I keep catching the odd refrain:
'Cladding! Statues in cladding! Pets in cladding! Statues of pets in cladding!'
Yeah, it's him
Exactly! For instance Redrow had a terrible year last year (they say) with revenues of *only* £1.34bn hey! Developers just stop whinging, stop being greedy, stop being inhuman and #EndOurCladdingScandal
I haven't seen him for a while! If the rest of @mhclg are anything to go by, he's busy dusting off old rules to present them as new, or else trying to come up with newfangled policies that require minimal effort to implement; that play to the gallery, but are ultimately hollow.
Mixed feelings to be honest, @BristolCladding. whilst I am glad that @team_greenhalgh has discovered a passion for the environment (substituting one green thing for another...), I fear that @mhclg as a whole are looking to distract from the #claddingscandal (good luck with that!)
