@claddingwarrior Sorry to hear you are having an issue. Your tweet is sadly spot on. Surveyors up and down the country are struggling to provide this type of valuation as really we are being asked to provide a valuation with a whole host of unknowns.

Grrr anyone sold their flat? Help to Buy are insisting on a valuation by a chartered surveyor...guess what no one whats to do it because of the cladding! Arhhhhh...so they will end up with 20% of nothing!

@JSimpsonjourno RICS did not respond to our query on a potential unqualified signatory. Instead sent a strongly worded disclaimer stating RICS cannot assure the competence of the individual or firm who undertook the EWS inspection, you will need to contact the relevant professional body for this

@Deepa60650354 Got a cash buyer but need a valuation because its a help to buy flat! Fine accept no one wants to touch it! So i can't sell. But don't worry helpto buy will get their money even if i go bankrupt. The nice gentleman informed me! @helptobuy phew i was worried!
