@vinted rubbish customer service. Well wrapped item marked as fragile, broken in transit by @InPostUK!! No way of contacting yourselves. Tempted to remove all my items and give them to charity as it would be more beneficial to everyone than using your service
"Are you prepared to sit down with the BMA?”
“Of course we are, we’ve tried multiple times”
@RishiSunak falsely claiming to have tried to negotiate with us when in reality we've now asked in 10 separate letters to meet with Govt to discuss pay and every request has been rebuffed.
Today junior doctors and consultants rallied on the doorstep of the Conservative Party Conference in Manchester to show the government that we will not be silenced.
Thank you to everyone who came along. Together we will continue, stronger than ever, towards full pay restoration.
Hey @RishiSunak, these @BMA_Consultants are outside your local hospital.
It’s a shame you didn’t come to meet your local consultants to discuss paying them fairly.
Over 100,000 undervalued doctors are, and always have been, ready to see you now.
Let’s get talking fair pay.
@amandajplatell How do you sleep at night knowing it’s your government’s underfunding/‘running’ that is causing so many failures in the NHS and driving all of its staff away?!
It would cost £1bn to restore junior doctors’ pay.
The govt spent:
£29bn on test and trace
£15bn on fraudulent COVID schemes
£4bn in unusable PPE
Cutting doctors’ pay by 26.1% is a political choice.
I’m an oncologist and I love my job. But I’m striking because I know first-hand that the NHS is failing our patients with cancer and I’m striking because I know first-hand that the NHS is failing its workforce. https://t.co/Liv26cn8Or #ConsultantsStrike
We like to think of paeds as a friendly speciality, and it often is - but 19% of trainees are at high risk of burnout in the latest GMC survey.
So at least a few (or maybe more?) in your work place…
Given paeds already high attrition rate we need…(1/)
