Years later, only a tiny fraction of the promised stations actually exist.

Here is the part nobody explains.

Most of that money never touched a charger. It went to consultants, planning firms, equity reviews, and state agencies that get paid to study the problem, not solve it.

Every layer takes its cut before a single plug goes in the ground.

7.5 billion dollars, and barely anything to show for it.

A finished project stops paying. An unfinished one pays forever.

That is the whole model of government green spending. Follow the money, and ask who got paid whether or not it ever worked.
