I'm proud to share that 9 of our 12 Baylor Scott & White Health North Texas hospitals—and 13 of our hospitals systemwide—have earned the distinction of a 5 star quality rating by CMS. This top rating is earned by only 10.5% of facilities nationally. https://t.co/0Qr8VjgLqh
As I stated in 2018 I reiterate today: “any form of minimally invasive colorectal surgery (laparoscopic, robotic, single port, transanal) is superior to a laparotomy or mini-laparotomy (hand assisted surgery). Therefore I encourage surgeons to offer whichever of these minimally invasive techniques they prefer and at which they are most adept to their patients.”
