My house burned down. I lost everything. I can’t rebuild. As a 42 year old man with 2 kids, I’ve had to move into my parents’ house, and I’m getting attacked for that? This is journalism? This is why no decent people ever get into politics. This is why you only have goblins running everything. God help you if you try to make things right for your community…if you lose your entire town, “journalists” mock you for not making your kids sleep in the toxic dirt on your burned out lot. Who raised you, dude?
Karen always likes to talk about HER experience and never YOUR experience in her city…stepping over homeless drug addicts having your, business tagged up every night, no street lights. If she is so experienced with governance, why is she so bad at governance? What does that say about all of her illustrious experience? I actually care more about YOUR daily experience in LA. I have all the experience that I need. I have experienced the consequences of Karen Bass’ failed leadership. All of us have. She needs to step aside.
They have both been in office for YEARS, never did a thing. Then, suddenly, 4 days before our Mayoral debate…NOW they’re doing what I’ve been calling for the whole time? They really think you’re stupid.
🚨 Exposing California's corrupt "Stop Nick Shirley Act", instead of going after the fraudsters California is now going after the people exposing the fraud.
This bill AB 2624 will:
- Criminalize journalists with misdemeanors, $10,000 fines, imprisonment, and content takedown
- Let immigrant based NGOs' funding be confidential
- Take away freedom of the press from journalists
- Protect any "immigration support services" information from being public (healthcare, legal services, etc)
This bill was created by the Attorney General's WIFE Mia Bonta to stop fraud from being exposed. Please like and share this video everywhere! By trying to silence and intimidate journalists, they are trying to hide the truth from you. EXPOSE ALL THE FRAUD.
When I die and go to movie heaven, the entry will resemble Arclight Hollywood's erstwhile lobby with time for a dry martini in the upstairs lounge before the show and all the caramel corn/popcorn I can eat without gaining a pound (a la Defending Your life).
Viva @SaveYourCinema!
Like legitimately this is one of the most thoughtful gestures I’ve ever seen someone make at any awards show, and for the director of the movie to do that? Like there’s so little ego here, it’s just pure love.
I hate that I had to grow up in the generation that got to see what life was like before the internet and then have to watch as it single-handedly destroys every single social entertainment space. Video rental stores, movie theaters, malls, arcades, bowling alleys, etc. The infinite access to at-home entertainment is turning us all into lazy, antisocial, depressed hermits and we’re just willingly allowing this to happen to us. The long term ramifications of this are so dire.
Happy Friday the 13th. It's now been exactly 17 years since the last time we saw Jason Voorhees on screen. The previous longest stretch of time between Friday the 13th movies was 8 years, 8 months.
One great thing about watching a movie on a disc is that I can sit with the movie as the credits roll without worrying about getting yanked out by an attempt to upsell me another movie
