The only supply channel, Lachin Corridor, for 120K NK Armenians, including 30K children, is blocked by AZ for 8 days already. AZ created a humanitarian crisis with no reasonable explanation. This gross violation of human rights requires international reaction & legal consequences.
🇦🇿 which closed the corridor and left 120000 ppl without heating needs to know: it's impossible to break us. This is our state and we are not going anywhere. This horrible situation will only make us stronger. We'll defend the right of #Artsakh to freedom and self-determination!
#Breaking: Azerbaijan has cut off the gas supply to Nagorno-Karabakh [the pipelines are passing through the AZE-controlled territories].
Nagorno-Karabakh has been deprived of its sole route connecting it with the world for over 30 hours.
270 children left on the roads in winter cold in Artsakh since yesterday/10:30 a.m.; the road from Artsakh to 🇦🇲 blocked by 🇦🇿 "civil" & "environmental" so-called movement under 🇦🇿 patronage. Children separated from families, serious problems w/ access to water, food & healthcare.
Nagorno Karabakh remains isolated with individuals from Azerbaijan blocking the only route to Armenia. Hospitals in the territory's capital, Stepanakert, report unable to transport critical patients out for medical care. Tension building between Azeris and Russian peacekeepers.
In times of severe winter AZ has cut off the gas supply in entire territory of NK along with the second day of blockage of the only road from NK to Armenia. Now for sure we have a humanitarian disaster, which must be properly addressed by international community. @SecBlinken
“The Stepanakert-Goris interstate highway is closed in both directions. As a result of yet another Azerbaijani provocation, the Republic of Artsakh has been in a de facto blockade for a day already, and the rights of thousands of citizens have been violated.
