In 2018, #Harari region couldn’t even maintain law & order nor protect #Harar|i citizens in its own region. It’s embarrassing to now see Harari region deploying a meager couple dozen to #Tigray along with sleeping bags. It’s obvious they’re being compelled to do so from the top

We see the decision of NEBE & other recent activities as an encroachment on Harari rights to self-determination & a precursor to further disenfranchisement of #Harar|is.

@JSoresa @IvanGaidarov @HebereBeher @LiyaTefferi It’s one thing to be confused, it’s a whole other thing to insist using it in the face of being told not to. This particular exonym wasn’t always used derogatively but it is being used so today & especially in her tweets; any foreigner should be able to understand the context.
