Arctic summer sea-ice is taking a deep dive under climate change. How sensitive has it been to past climate? In our new study we propose a new way to reconstruct past sea ice using #sedaDNA of the tiny but mighty Polarella glacialis 👇🏽 https://t.co/3SRHHZsy3l
Are you interested in marine biodiversity changes through time?
Experienced in some form of environmental DNA analysis (metabarcoding/metagenomics)?
Excited by sediments and acheology?

Thank you for a great workshop @IASC on intraspecific biodiversity in the Arctic and sub Arctic. Cheers from marine micros - whale participants @MFRI_Iceland :) looking forward to the proceedings @aurelielabarre @CPampoulie
Spent the week in Hólar in north Iceland for a workshop on intraspecific diversity. Great discussions about the importance of diversity within species at high latitudes with an international group of great people. Oh and gorgeous scenery!
@fipsamarra Indeed great workshop. Cheers from marine micros to whale participsnts from Hafrò @MFRI_Iceland :) looking forward to the proceedings @aurelielabarre @CPampoulie

Fascinating when phytoplanktons are observed by 🛰. Around the Westfjords in Iceland there is ongoing a bloom of coccolithophorid Emiliana huxleyi, been 3 weeks! Image of Bìldudalur thank you Ingibjörg Jònsdòttir (and NASA) 😊 here you go some info -> https://t.co/L8AuBgXUr1

@NHM_Denmark and @OceanLifeCentre at @DTUtweet Fresh study, exciting approach and great collaboration by @fryderheim and myself et Al.
A phycologists dream –or maybe just mine..? Traveling around Iceland, sampling for phytoplankton together with my family, a microscope, a transportable fridge with light and an auto camper😀

It’s intro time!
I’m a PhD Candidate at the Geological survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) and @Globe_UCPH.
My research is on reconstructing
#cryosphere and #ecosystem changes in the Arctic during the Holocene using a multi-proxy approach 👩🏼🔬🔬 I’m also a mom and artist 🤱🏼✏️
Come work at GEUS in Copenhagen: we have a two year postdoc position analyzing Holocene Greenland fjord mud!
Application deadline April 25 https://t.co/WQNMGg6qrK
