Hi! Yes, everything is e20 now (20% ethanol)

XP100 and Power99 have lesser blend but they aren't available. Only 1-2 pumps per state.

E20 existed for months now which was imposed on everyone even if your car is e5 or e10 compliant which itself was unfair but lately, it looks like blend is silently increased and getting tested. Is it e27 or e30 we don't know.

This has caused fuel economy to go down further and causing severe issues in cars.

Brand service advisors say, this is happening due to adulteration of fuel. Silently they say that ever since e20 is enforced problems have shoot up in Petrol cars.

Brands say their cars are material compatible and they will repair everything till warranty lasts but even if you have warranty for 6 years, you will always be at risk after that.

Things doesn't stop here. For Petrol cars which are 70% e10 right now, how can you enforce e30 as standard? No country does that! This is clearly done to have repeated sales and make people change cars like Phones. This is basically a knee jerk reaction to with fat bills of oil we are getting with our weak currency.

All customers basically want are e10, e20 and e85 as separate dispensers and no adulteration at any level.

This non clarity has ruined car market for informed buyers because now each tech, Petrol, Diesel and EVs have diff issues. So basically, even after paying 40% GST on car, crazy amount of registration fee, you still can't be sure to own your car trouble free for 10 years.

Absolute clown show this.

After your advise to stop using cars, Today I decided to walk to my office and sharing some realities with you.

Citizens are not addicted to cars. Most people would happily avoid taking their cars out if cities simply offered three things properly; safe footpaths, protected cycling tracks, and dependable Metro connectivity.

Give us these three basics and I can confidently say private car usage will reduce massively on its own.

But today, the reality is different. Cities like Pune, where public transport demand is exploding, still struggle with incomplete and delayed infrastructure, while Metro projects are inaugurated in places where the urgency and density are comparatively lower like Bhopal or Nagpur for political advantage. Footpaths are encroached upon or broken by your own goons or electric dept. Cycling tracks exist mostly for presentations, events, and photo opportunities instead of daily commuting.

Then citizens are lectured about reducing car usage.

Sir, roads in India are still unsafe for pedestrians and cyclists. Asking people to give up cars without first guaranteeing safety is unfair. A middle class citizen choosing a car today is not choosing luxury; he is choosing survival and, predictability.

If you truly want us to adopt public transport and sustainable mobility, then please first make walking and cycling safe, and then focus on public transport reliable enough that citizens choose it willingly rather than being morally pressured into it.

After reading this post and all the grievances faced in private banks, India Post is the best in opening and maintaining SSY. Got my daughter's SSY in a jiffy. They do sell ULIPs at the FY end but move on if you say NO. I think @RBI should intervene and make a guideline for this

Visited HDFC Bank and IDFC First Bank to open an SSY account.

Had to return empty handed because both the banks were trying to sell their ULIP plan.

Told my alignment towards SSY and they started showing cashflow projection.

I told them how much is the CAGR to which they conveniently told 8%.

I told them to show me 8% on calculator. The guy didn’t know anything how to calculate it.

Since I cleared my CFA Level 2, I taught him how to calculate IRR with financial calculator and shown him it’s 6% not even beating inflation.

He said there is insurance cover which one can claim after the death, and I told them I am not betting on my death here.

SSY gives 8% v/s their plan giving 6%.

Both the banks didn’t process my SSY application too.

His name is Ajay Katara.

In February 2002 he was at a wedding in Ghaziabad.

At midnight he saw his friend Nitish Katara being taken away in a white Tata Safari by Vikas Yadav and Vishal Yadav. Sons of sitting MP D.P. Yadav.

Nitish’s body was found the next morning. Skull fractured. Body burned with acid. Dumped in a canal.

Every witness turned hostile. Police witnesses changed their statements. Even Bharti Yadav changed her testimony.

But Not Ajay.

Vikas Yadav threatened to kill him directly. Ajay’s response was simple.

If I am going to die I might as well tell the truth.

His testimony alone put Vikas and Vishal behind bars for 25 years.

The Supreme Court said this in open court. Only this man recorded his statement against the accused. See the power you wielded.

Then his punishment began.

37 false cases. Rape. Kidnapping. Extortion. Shot at. Poisoned. His security guards were paid Rs 50 lakh to look away.

He now lives with armed guards 24 hours a day.

Not one case existed against him before 2003. The year he testified.

In January 2026 Vikas Yadav applied for furlough. Ajay’s lawyer stood in court and said there is a constant threat to this witness. Furlough denied.

All I did was tell the truth. I just want to be left alone.

India failed him. He never failed India.

In the early 1950s, Russia was offering crude oil to India in rupees. The US opposed it even then.

95% of the market was in the control of three Western MNCs - Burmah Shell, Stanvac, and Caltex. They refused to accept Russian oil.

It was then that Minister Keshav Dev Malviya moved the proposal for oil exploration and production in India itself, which got active support from PM Nehru.

US and Britain refused technical help and financial support for oil exploration, arguing that a poor country like India didn’t need to venture out for such an expensive adventure.

But India went ahead. ONGC was established in 1955. Within two years, KD Malviya ensured that 100 geologists and geophysicists were trained. By 1959, India struck oil!

Since then, ONGC has led India’s energy security programme. It became India’s most profitable company. By 2014, it was debt-free, with cash reserves of 13,000 crore rupees. India produced 27% of its domestic oil needs. Now it is 13%!

Come 2025. ONGC is under a debt of 78,000 crore rupees. The money for exploration was diverted to write off loans and dead investment of Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation worth nearly 26,000 crore rupees and fund the deficit of the Union Government by forcing ONGC to buy stakes of HPCL for 36,000 crore rupees, which went to the union budget!

So the exploration suffered, and our domestic production of crude oil is falling.

I write for National Herald that how the Modi government strangulated oil exploration, profiteered from oil imports, and squeezed money out of the common people in the form of taxes.

Now is the time to protect them from rising crude oil prices by giving subsidies, by taking a cue from the UPA government and Dr. Manmohan Singh’s policies.

Dear @letsblinkit, your Ambulance service is a lifesaver indeed. Jist this morning, a classmate of mine requested for an ambulance in Gurugram. It arrived in 4 minutes and his mom was in the emergencybward of a hospital within 20 minutes.
Both the paramedic attendants and the driver were topnotch and took excellent care of the patient.
After the formalities in the ER were done and the patient stabilized, her son went out to thank the ambulance guys, only to find out that they had already gone.
Two minutes later he got the scolding of his life from his wife for not giving them any token of thanks, especially since the ambulance service didn't charge anything. He had no idea and had just assumed that the charges would have been paid when his wife had booked the ambulance!
On that note, you may consider adding an option on your app for a token payment and perhaps a rating system for your ambulance crews after the job is completed.
They are a lifesaver indeed.

@volklub I picked GV CNG over Elevate. I have a healthy running daily. I really liked Elevate due to its interior and comfort. But, rejected it due to lack of Powertrain options and economy. I didn't have the budget for a hybrid.
