In the near villages there's the Castle (Ramsey), Cherry Tree (Little Oakley) & Maybush (Great Oakley) plus a number of social clubs across the district.
Ale Trail 2024 may have finished but there's plenty of cask ale in Harwich the rest of the year! Regular outlets @almainnkeeper@hannyharwich@GlobeHarwich @NewBellInn & @StingrayPub . Check https://t.co/0zoxjj9aQe for opening hours etc.
For Dovercourt, Kingsway Hall will be selling cask ale. Opposite is Wetherspoons. Otherwise, the only other confirmed outlet is the Trafalgar Pub in Upper Dovercourt.
Ale Trail is over ... until next time. Many thanks to the publicans, staff, volunteers and, especially, the visitors! Somehow you nearly drank us out of ale over the five days!
The next Spring Harwich Ale Trail is 1-5 May 2025, subject to confirmation. Watch this space
