I grew up reading Manga and couldn't stand Marvel or DC.

• Manga is sequential (episode 2 follows episode 1, there is no alternate timeline bullshit)
• When characters die, they stay dead
• Manga knows its demographics and gives them what they want
• Manga has far more genre variety
• It's usually written and drawn by one person, so the stories are more personal
• Superheroes are lame, overpowered, preachy, outdated, and boring
• After the 90s collapse, Manga took over (sadly there was another collapse in 2008 but Manga has made a huge comeback)
• Popular Manga get made into anime, which hugely boost sales
• Manga is black and white which means bigger profits
• Manga is published in magazine form before being collected into paperback volumes. Imagine being able to read all your favorite new stories in one magazine.
• Manga prizes talent over DEI. Only the best, hardest workers get published.

I can go on for hours about why Manga is superior but American publishers won't listen to me because all their top staff would need to be fired.
