We need to stop pretending the movies were perfect adaptations. They sucked in a lot of ways.
Just to list a few things they fucked up off the top of my head:
-Ruined Ron in favor of Hermione
-Ginny was not Ginny
-Made HBP a comedy when it should have been the second or third darkest film
-Removed all the mystery aspects from GOF when it was written as a mystery book
-Removed almost all of the Voldemort memories (one of the most important parts of the main villain)
-Didn’t get the Quidditch World Cup
-Missed 80% of Quidditch games at Hogwarts
-Made those who haven’t read the books want Harry & Hermione together (Have Steve Kloves to thank for that)
-Took away Grindelwald’s redemption in favor of making him tell Voldemort to kill Dumbledore instead
-Completely changed Sirius’s character in OOTP
And I could list 50 other things that they didn’t have time to cover, and I’ll probably think of another 20 things they messed up if I actually sit down and think about it. The movies were great, but let’s not pretend they’re perfect.
My son said to me today, "Daddy, I think Pope Francis is already in heaven because he was such good friends with Jesus."
He's 22 and completely unemployable.
To those celebrating the fact that I'm smoking a blunt: it's a cigar. Even if it decided to identify as a blunt for the purposes of this celebration, it would remain objectively, provably and demonstratively a cigar.
Fun fact: this award was created after Cristiano joined the league.
Fun fact; He’s won it 3 times in the 3 years it was held.
Fun fact: In those 3 years, he’s won 0 trophies.
Fun fact: Mitrovic who was one of the top scorers and had 4+ trophies did not get nominated.
@JackoGreenwood I think you've wound them up more than he did tbf 😂
