Eric, even if I don’t click “like” on every post you make, I am very grateful that you are following these court decisions. As a practicing lawyer, it is difficult to access them sometimes and you do a superb job of keeping us informed of significant decision decisions. Thank you, sir!
@AustinJustice We must get rid of our district attorney, who repeatedly releases, violent, dangerous, criminals to prey upon the innocent in our community. How much more will we have to suffer?
The amount of suffering that our district attorney has inflicted on the people of this community by his failure to protect us from violent repeat criminals is incalculable. People who are victimized by these repeat criminals, have significant mental or physical injuries that they will carry with them for a lifetime.
@EWess92 The amount of time and money that lawyers and law firm staff have spent trying to comply with these requirements to date has got to be staggering. Personal experience here.
I just can’t fathom how they could’ve been out of air. Weren’t they watching their gauges, were they paying no attention to their computers, how could you go into a cave and not be vigilant about making sure you have enough air to exit the cave? This just doesn’t make sense at all.
Totally untrue. If you are being honest, there are a lot of things that lawyers do that are not properly billable to a client. Administrative tasks, instructions to staff, interruptions for other things, and things that a client should not have to pay a lawyer to do. If you’re being honest, you absolutely cannot bill every minute in your office.
