@TheNameofWar@joshdcaplan Looks like an 80’s homecoming parade at a preppy high school escorting the homecoming queen. Note the duck shoes and argyle socks. Awesomeness
@walls_jason1@ABCSharkTank@mcuban You are a bad ass. There are a lot of Doctor’s who invented a clamp or small surgical tool that made a lot of money - lots of trades people too. I sincerely hope you are one of them!
@alt_w_v_g The best response to the constant e-begging is to have a giving plan - essentially a Budget for charitable giving. Then only give to things you support, sourced by your family and you. If you want to get crazy, you could set a “randomized request” donation budget..
@TS_Secrets Ah..but you need to factor in length of stay economics as well. How much does a car rental cost for a two to three week stay? Additionally, a family can pack the car with more stuff than is practical to take on a flight.
@alt_w_v_g@stevegarthwaite Yup. No tips for counter service. That’s the standard. It is a personal rule. People who deserve tips get them. It is a sliding scale. But counter service - not a tipped position.
@amuse Huh. “Volunteer” - I thought “Volunteers” were not paid, as they were volunteers. These are short term employees who are hired for a wage. As such, they are subject to withholding just like any other wages earner.
@taxgirl Here is a good scam I discovered today - waste management - set up on auto pay. The invoice says payment due on 12/26. BUT the T & Cs of autopay - they collect via ACH 10 Days prior to due date on their emailed invoice! Invoicing via mail is like 8 bucks / mo. Seriously, wtf!
@patrickdichter I’m confused by some of these reply’s. Are you all talking about Intuit Enterprise Software (IES) and transitioning from Quickbooks online (QBO) to IES or what? What is “Quickbooks Enterprise” - is it the same as IES? I have a call with Intuit tomorrow to discuss this.
