Today we held our Opportunity Starts at Home (OSAH) Colorado Congressional Debrief. Thank you to the Congressional offices of @SenatorHick, @SenatorBennet, @RepDianaDeGette, and @RepJoeNeguse for attending as well as our OSAH partners!
We are seeing this first hand during our Sunday Service work with @HeadwatersP. There are many solutions in the community. We need to listen to our expert leaders.
Ean Thomas Tafoya, @believeEan @GreenLatinos
Ean works to build stronger ties towards justice with Tribal Nations in Colorado. Ean also led on an equitable energy tax ballot initiative that resulted a climate protection fund dedicating millions to frontline communities.
I had the a beautiful and joyous dream of training 50+ people at @HeadwatersP. We got so much done - training, inventory, cleaning & public health. So many friends & colleagues were there. We all talked about the impact. An empowering dream of people power & compassion. Clean 💦
@believeEan, Colorado State Director at @GreenLatinos, and with @HeadwatersP: “So if you have housing, food, clean air, water, that civility allows you to grow and let your creativity grow, and honestly isn’t creativity the thing that makes life so amazing?"
Join us TOMORROW for a virtual documentary screening and panel discussion highlighting the intersectional nature of housing (in)stability on Tuesday, August 23rd from 3:30-5PM MT. Register here: https://t.co/UCTXMMA1rH
