1,000 days since the genocide in Gaza began.
1,000 days of the open slaughter of innocent civilians, and the death of the decency of the so called civilized world.
Every single day, I find myself overwhelmed by the ongoing genocide in Gaza, the criminals expanding into the Westbank and Lebanon, the continued global indifference towards Sudan, the refugees among us who arise from the causes we claim dear to us that get virtually zero community support, the forgotten political prisoners left to languish in dungeons like graves beneath the earth, and the painful feeling that I am still not doing enough for any of them.
May Allah relieve the oppressed, free the imprisoned, and forgive our shortcomings.
Ashura is approaching.
And if I could give you one piece of advice, it would be this:
Do not waste this day asking Allah for small things. This is the day that witnessed an ocean split.
Here are some duβas to carry into this blessed day
15 years of your magic @TheMahiraKhan π₯Ήβ₯οΈ Thank you for the stories youβve told, the conversations youβve started and the example youβve set. Your impact goes far beyond filmography and accolades. It lives in the hearts youβve inspired along the way β₯οΈ
This report is haunting even for someone who has documented the most horrific aspects of this genocide - which too many world leaders pretend not to see.
I commend the Commission of Inquiry for its effort to bring about accountability and make the truth accessible.

There is no point doing the right thing any more in the UK.
32 degrees abroad - absolutely amazing and the best thing ever.
32 degrees in the UK - feels like you're getting cooked in a fucking air fryer on the max crisp setting.
Keir Starmer could have ended child poverty, homelessness and the grotesque levels of inequality in this country.
Instead, he abandoned those in need, destroyed our civil liberties and facilitated genocide in Gaza.
That is how this Prime Minister will be remembered - and that is the legacy of moral and political bankruptcy he leaves behind.
The crises in our society are not going away. Neither are we - and we will keep fighting for a more equal, peaceful and dignified society for all.
Muslims, once again, targeted and attacked in the UK, this time in Edinburgh.
None of this is happening in a vacuum.
Rupert Lowe, Tommy Robinson and their ilk have put a target on the backs of Muslims for years. Hardly a surprise people are now acting on their words.
