@FREEMAN_Outside Itโs amazing what can come of goal setting! How amazing is this idea that continues to foster relationships both inside and outside of the classroom.๐ #GetPresent#643Sp21
@CollinInTheHall Kaboot is a great resource for students ages ~3rd grade and up! In the lower elementary virtual setting, I was able to use Google Slides to create fun games! Students would write answers on a white board and flip it around to the camera when prompted! #GetPresent#643Sp21
@srtaweaver I totally agree with this statement! Community Cohesion is a necessity at the beginning and essential to maintain throughout the year. #GetPresent#643Sp21
@FREEMAN_Outside Seesaw helped tremendously in incorporating social presence in my virtual kindergarten placement. So grateful for this platform and what itโs done for early learners in a virtual classroom setting! #NotADog#643Sp21
@DMcElheny I totally agree and referenced the exact same thing! Itโs fun to reflect on how these interactions made me feel and connect these feelings to the reading. #NotADog#643Sp21
@Jneher2 As a student in a virtual learning format, this is one of my favorite parts! Connecting with classmates about related or unrelated topics is such a fun way to learn. #NotADog#643Sp21
@PJJarvis What an interesting thought! I cannot imagine what our world will be like in 50 years with the continuous advancement of technology. #NotADog#643Sp21
@SamMcBean24 I also found this to be a struggle in my kindergarten student teaching placement. My host teacher and I found that Loom was a great tool to assist students and families struggling with technology. #SPOResearch1#643Sp21
@Kirksey_choir I find them essential in our MALDT classes as well! Connecting with classmates in break-out sessions and social media has helped me feel apart of this community! #SPOResearch1#643Sp21
@Kirksey_choir I could not agree more! Thoughts like, โWhat if I missed something or misinterpreted the directions?โ are frequent, and anticipating the feedback is the hardest part! #SPOResearch1#643Sp21
@lexi_mcphee I agree that it is much more difficult to adapt quickly in a virtual learning environment! I find it even more important to think through every aspect of the lesson plan. #SPOResearch1#643Sp21
@innovative_inq In my student teaching placemat, my host teacher and I treated digital storytelling in the online format almost the same as in-person learning! Using Google Meet, we shared the screen of the document camera while at the same time kept the camera on our faces. #SPOL#643Sp21
@Kirksey_choir My fiancรฉ and I had a similar conversation on our walk the other day! I am also interested in the research being developed about online learning in the K-12 environment since the pandemic. #SPOL#643Sp21
@jrilley Agreed, and there are a variety of ways instructors can provide feedback to promote social presence! Using a platform like Seesaw, instructors are able to directly comment, voice record, or video record a response to a submission. #SPOL#643Sp21
@FREEMAN_Outside@innovative_inq I love how you related the article to a real experience that you created. This is a great idea that I will note for my future reference! #SPOL#643Sp21
