I’d like my first public statement as a ghost to be an apology for taking advantage of legalized slavery in the Utah territory. To be fair, I didn’t know people would be talking about it in 2022. Black lives do matter, and I’m sorry. I wonder if the Church will apologize…
@reneehwilliams @Bemorte I never claimed to know more than you, I’m sure you are intelligent and have read widely on these subjects. But the data challenges your claims, and I think it’s worth talking about.
@reneehwilliams @Bemorte I understand you fear the pride movement, but you’re going to need to back up your declaration that it is more harmful with something more than “how is that not true.” Here’s an oft cited lit review on parental alcoholism. Please substantiate your claims.

@reneehwilliams @Bemorte I would suggest you study the literature about the incredibly damaging effects of alcoholism on society, children, healthcare, etc and reevaluate your position on this.
@NotYourBishop So the distinction I think worth making here is this: some LGBTQ people struggle to feel loved and welcomed with their romantic/sexual identity, and the church has clarified that is not sinful. But the porn… it’s just sin. Period. So to equate the two is really not helpful.
@mikelaughead@DanEllsworthVA This is such a black and white way of looking at it. This tweet is referencing the firing of people who most certainly believe, but might feel the policies in LGBTQ issues are confusing or concerning. “Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.” That was good enough for Jesus.
@IAmYourNextGen Funny that… up until 2019, the phrase “day and night” was used in the temple recommend question concerning garments. Most of the garment-wearing adults you know would have heard that phrase in connection with their garment-wearing practices, reinforced every couple years no less
Hi friends. This is vulnerable, and I need some help. I’m a current church employee, but will be terminated soon as I can no longer support the institutional church or answer temple recommend questions about my doctrinal positions “correctly”. Please: help me find a job. 1/3
@NoblestCalling We actually likely agree on a great deal, but there are some important aspects to my evolving understanding of Jesus that don’t align. Kudos to you my friend for being literally the first of many active Latter-day Saint commenters to be even remotely respectful. All my best.
@nick_mecham Let’s say I was. Have you been in my classroom? Do you understand the sacrifice of those who do this work? You don’t know me, or my story. Nor could quantify the good I have done that you would fully approve of. Both of your comments could use a little Christlike polish.
@venator_aprum If I am perceived as an “enemy”, our shared faith in Jesus requires us to love one another. Good riddance apostate is unbecoming of a disciple, but perhaps you felt upset at the time. Peace and goodness all around.
@joepemberton76 Please don’t make assumptions about my relationship with God based on a handful of qualms with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. I will assume generously with you as well. Peace and goodness all around.
@joepemberton76 My friend, I hold very little animosity. I simply recognize our paths are diverging. I remain anonymous because the backlash would be really difficult. Those close to me in my employment know of my situation. Also, is one not allowed to find difficulty in their work environment?
@theWestonFire If I had the capacity and mental bandwidth, I might. As it is, I’m devoting my time and resources to finding meaningful employment somewhere I can thrive and support my family. Thanks for the advice 👍🏼
@venator_aprum What a loving response, thank you. If you only knew the immense sacrifice and heart I have poured into my role in loving and strengthening people. Assume generously and judge ye not.
@JTCarre@Erk1817 I’m really looking for any job where I can make an impact and do some good in the world. So sales, for example, is not on my radar even though I’m really good with people. No knock on sales whatsoever, but I just need to be in a helping/teaching/training role.
@SaintBourbonSt We would relocate from SLC if it made sense. But it’s really hard to find jobs elsewhere as it broadens the pool to staggering numbers of available jobs, so I don’t look very carefully out of state.
