Do you really not know this? Okay, here it is:
1. California accepts mail ballots up to 7 days after election day so long as they are postmarked by election day.
2. Republicans tend to vote in-person, on election day.
3. Democrats tend to vote by mail, which can come in up to a week later.
4. L.A. and California as a whole are heavily majority Democratic.
5. On election day, Republicans appear to do well, because most of their voters vote in-person on election day. The election day in-person vote is heavily Republican. So, Republicans often look like they are winning.
6. Then the Democratic mail ballots start coming in, signatures are checked, etc., and this process can take up to 7 days, by law. So every day a portion of the verified ballots are counted, and Dems cut into the Republicans' lead or high placement, narrowing the gap day-by-day for 7-10 days, until they inevitably take the lead since the electorate is heavily Democratic.
7. Republicans are a defanged minority in California, and in every election Republican votes are around 25%. Almost every election, with only a few exceptions over the last 5 decades.
8. Trump got 23% of the California vote in 2024.
9. Republicans in this election actually did a little better this time, with around 26%. This is about average in California elections, because it's a heavily Democratic state.
@TheDemocrats No, you won't. There is no way any Democrat beats shape-shifter slime ball Lindsay Graham. Ever. He's there until he dies, retires, or gives up his senate seat to run for president.
@JamesKirkLives@cabsav456 It does require a signature. If they cannot sign, they can make a mark in front of a witness. The witness' signature is verified. Post offices don't always put postmarks. My local post office does not.
@Liz_Wheeler Uh, huh. Go ahead and explain the facts, then. Trump got 23% in L.A., and Pratt got 26%. You fucks insist CA is filled with libtards, leftists, socialists and communists, and then you somehow think it's fraud when the Republican loses? Get the fuck out of my country, traitors.
@amyforsandiego If you believe this bullshit, go report it to the police and the FBI. Let them investigate it. But no amount of influencer/MAGA/bot/troll online bullshit is going to make it true. PROVE IT.
