My takeaways from the super mountain stage weekend 👇🏼

1. We should not act as if nothing has happened

Yes, I am talking about those inhuman doping controls at 2 am and 5 am. How is that even legal? In no other sports would they dare to wake up the biggest stars in the middle of the night with a test that can be made the same in the morning with the same result.

And yes, as Pogi hinted in the interview, I believe it too, that it could definitely be one of the reasons for the crash. The coincidence happening exactly a day after that interrupted sleep is just too big.

Studies on athletes show that even partial sleep restriction slows reaction time, reduces attention, and impairs decision-making.

And we shouldn’t act as if nothing happened. These kinda night tests shouldn’t be allowed when sleep is the biggest point of recovery, especially between two hard mountain stages. #TDF2026

Der CDU- Wirtschaftsflügel hat zumindest mal eine diametral entgegengesetzte aktuelle Einschätzung zu #teilzeit & #Fachkräftemangel als ich: Ich sehe hier im Großraum Stgt überall nur Personalabbau und erlebe als Ü50 nicht gerade offene Türen bei Bewerbungen auf Vollzeitstellen.
