Week 0 โ Week 16: The Journey Complete ๐๐ฅ
17 weeks ago, I walked into @Web3Bridge not knowing what to expect.
Today, I'm walking out a completely different developer.
Where We Started:
Week 0: Settling in, rules, guidelines, and getting to know each other
Week 1-2: Cryptography foundations
Week 3-7: Ethereum architecture, Solidity basics, building real contracts
Week 8: Eviction week. The test that separated theory from practice.
Where We Went:
Week 9-10: Frontend integration with React, AppKit, Ethers, The Graph
Week 11: Diamond standard, proxy patterns, assembly-level understanding
Week 12: Security auditing, exploit analysis, thinking like attackers
What We Built:
โ ERC20 tokens from scratch
โ School management systems
โ Vault factories with onchain NFTs
โ My own DEX (Velox) with frontend
โ Token faucet with 24hr cooldowns
โ Diamond contracts with multiple facets
โ Staking, multisig, marketplace systems
What We Learned Beyond Code:
The AI conversation almost broke some of us. "What's the point if we're being replaced?"
But we learned the truth: tools change, but critical thinking, security mindset, and problem-solving are irreplaceable.
We learned to debug at late night hours. To teach each other when concepts didn't click. To argue, fight, and settle it back because that's what passionate builders do.
We learned Git through merge conflicts. Collaboration through group projects. Resilience through eviction week.
The People Who Made This Possible:
To @Ebunayo08, the founder of @Web3Bridge: You spoke to us like a father, a friend, and a mentor. Thank you for creating this space and believing in us. None of this happens without you.
The Mentors:
@Timidan_x (co-founder), @Pelz_Dev, @judetochyx, @kenzman18, @WiseMrMusa, @Haramide, and all the other mentors who poured into us.
You didn't just teach us to code. You taught us to think. For the patience, for breaking down Diamond contracts, for making cryptography accessible, for believing we could build production-level systems. Thank you.
Special thanks to @jolah99, who laid the foundation in the Web2 Advanced class before I even got to Web3. You're more than a tutor now, you're a mentor and a friend. Thank you for everything.
The Web3Bridge Team:
Shoutout to the media team capturing every moment, the security team keeping us safe, the chefs making sure we stayed fed, the cleaners keeping our environment comfortable, @peacejoel_ (the content queen of Web3Bridge), and every single member of the Web3Bridge family who made this experience unforgettable.
I'm going to miss seeing all of you. Not just my colleagues, but the mentors, the team, everyone who made that space feel like home.
My Colleagues - The Real MVPs:
To everyone in this cohort: We made it. From strangers to a community of builders. Some of you became friends. All of you became part of the story.
All the "Chief" and "Boss" flying around, even when the real bosses disagree to claim their title ๐
@Gharneeyart20, @Marvel_xxo, @JimiAdetayo, @dp7954, @zuruOnyx, @Ayokomi21, @Heis_Nifeee, @levdev_ojukwu, @mark_ojukwu, @DeFiNursca, @Anthony248008, @_belziee, @The0_ph1lus, @SamuelOwase, @0xJhay, @JacoOlola, @EgbalaJoy, @OladipoEvangel, @eli_jah_007, @0xdevair, @uncleteee, @progress_gc__, @ab_undance, @xedrahbuidls, @oyedele_io, @Ajumoke4, @MusabHabeeb2, @Comm_Joseph, @Anavheoba, @Akeemolayiwola9, @emejulucodes
Can't tag everyone but you all know who you are. We shared late nights, debug sessions, group projects, and that Monopoly game during eviction results.
To that wonderful friend I will really miss seeing, I hope this is just the beginning. There's so much to build, so much to achieve. I hope we do it together, beyond Web3Bridge and beyond what we can see right now.
This wasn't just a bootcamp. It was family.
The Alumni/Masterclass Legends:
Big thanks to @Hadassahayeni, @ali_anuoluwapo, @AkpoloOgaga, and all the masterclass/alumni who guided us when we needed mentorship. Your insights made the tough weeks easier.
But let's not forget we absolutely demolished you guys on the football pitch ๐๐ Just saying, mentorship is one thing, but on the field? Different story. The students became the teachers that day ๐ชโฝ
To Anyone Considering Web3Bridge:
It's might seem hard at first. You'll doubt yourself. You'll debug for hours. You'll feel lost.
But if you show up, put in the work, and lean on the community, you'll come out transformed.
The support system is real. The mentorship is world-class. The friendships last beyond the program.
Week 0 โ Week 16 โ (17 weeks total)
The cohort is complete. The journey continues.
Thank you @Web3Bridge. Thank you to everyone who made this possible. I'm going to miss this. ๐
A moment weโve been waiting to share!
At the end of the @Monad Blitz hackathon, 5 teams emerged as winners, 4 of those teams had Web3Bridge students.๐๐
Moments like this are proof that at Web3Bridge, weโre not just teaching theory, weโre training builders who can compete, build, and win in real-world environments.
So if youโve been considering joining Web3Bridge, maybe this is your sign.

And then we came third place, in our first hackathon on @monad,
@Web3Bridge students are not dulling ๐ฅ
Special shout out to my team @OladipoEvangel and @omoboi_dev, you guys back down and Iโm proud of us
Special thanks to @web3afrika and @monad for make this possible ๐๐ผ
