@Telegraph How long before supporting Israel becomes an anti-muslim hate issue? The new laws are leading us down a very dark road. This government needs to wake up to what they're doing before it's too late.
@David90shaw I think we have our first dictator. He'll still be in Downing Street for the next election. By then, we'll either be in civil war or war with Russia, and there won't be an election.
@DouglasCarswell I was watching some videos of life in the 70s. I don't think we realise how much our freedoms have been taken away from us since then. It's been a slow process over 50 years.
@PeterTatchell The councils are poor. They should be fixing potholes and cleaning the streets which benefit everyone. Britain is not a rich country and we need to start acting like it.
@stuey_beef He always does and always will. There'll be nothing to save by the time the next election comes along. He's going to steam roll everything through.
I'm no medical expert, but I find it difficult to believe that somebody who lasted for an hour after being stabbed could not possibly have survived, even if given urgent medical treatment earlier.
It doesn't make sense.
“Twenty-five years ago, the political class was more willing to engage in open debate.”
Today, there is an attempt to cast legitimate criticism of prevailing orthodoxies — whether on diversity, Islam, immigration, or climate change — as misinformation, disinformation, or hate speech.
At the heart of the free speech crisis is an unwillingness on the part of the promoters of these policies to defend them in public.
Instead of engaging in good-faith debate, they portray critics as beyond the pale.
In this relatively recent phenomenon, people are increasingly realising that if they challenge a certain cluster of prevailing orthodoxies, they are likely to be cancelled.
We must push back against this.

@JackPosobiec Meanwhile, the British police are beating the crap out of protesters here and mobilizing courts in 48 hours to scare ppl from speaking out.
One guy is looking at 5 years for throwing a dustbin down the street (did NOT hit anyone).
It’s insane here.
