@HeidiGiokos @ortambo_int I was there and it was absolute chaos. The worst was no communication from ground staff, and major attitude when you asked for any kind of update. My airline app/WhatsApp line didn't update either, it still shows our flight left at 2:45 (it left at 6pm). Scheduled to leave at 1pm

@HeidiGiokos @ortambo_int My family were stuck from 10am, only boarded their plane to Durban after 4pm, there was no water, no aircon and they were not allowed to go and stand outside - elderly people in tears that missed their cruise with family. Chairs & seating were limited, it was chaos! What a mess!

Good day Heidi, kindly note that the shaft that actuates the fuel valves to the apron malfunctioned, which caused a disruption in the ability to supply fuel to the apron. The valves were successfully opened manually, and the refueling process is efficiently operating. O.R. Tambo International Airport is addressing the operational backlog and is still addressing minor delays, passengers are encouraged to reach out to their respective airlines for further flight information. I really need to understand what happened at OR Tambo International today. How do you have a scenario with planes not being able to refuel? DURING PEAK?

What i cannot understand is that it happens ALL THE TIME in ONE building at our airports.
These crimes are embedded in their staff. What is their security doing? Unless they are involved too.
