Last miles in today for #race4recipients and the @WaltonCentre team. They were low in volume, but on reflection really what organ donation is about- simple pleasures that you would give anything to get, or to have again
Another few miles for #race4recipients and team @WaltonCentre. I have genuinely thought a lot about what these miles mean as I have done them. Still a few days to get some more done....even if you haven't started yet πͺ
Great experience presenting posters at #SOA24 yesterday, especially with it being o home turf!! So much interesting work on display along side inspiring talks. Nice to catch up with colleagues from @WaltonCentre and from around the region too
After a long 4.5 years I have my Advanced Clinical Practice MSc π₯³ π₯. I had an amazing time today marking this moment with the people that have helped me see it through, and provided the motivation- most notably my amazing husband .....I think the last photo sums up my journey!!
Does anyone have any experience of supporting physios returning to practice? Do you just use existing objective setting/appraisal documents/ competency documents to support completion? Do you tend to use paid/unpaid routes? @northwestcsp@CSPLondon@TheACPRC
Great day delivering an Advanced Trache Skills Study Day to internal staff! Thanks to all attendees and to everyone from the wider MDT who delivered talks inc; ENT, rehab medicine, outreach, resp PT & SLT. Curious about external interest for similar future courses? @WaltonCentre
@TheACPRC@skmansell@VerityFord1@liam_campbell85@SiLVaH_UK @LancsSCLTV @thecsp If NIV and high flow is no longer to be classed as AGP in hospital (as mentioned by @MatthewJQuint) but chest physio is not mentioned, what approach are you likely to take on IPPB, MI:E, metaneb etc. Wise words welcome for IPC meeting tomorrow!!
@JRM_Physio @TheCountessNHS I recognise this! It was constructed by my husband (an anaesthetic Spr), not claiming the idea-that was one of his colleagues...they are happy to see it still in use!
Any ITU/hyperacute rehab physio's who have done Level 7 NMP? Looking for feedback on how useful you find this in your clinical area? Pros/cons? @TheACPRC
