Very happy that The Stereoscopic Society is featured in this week’s issue of Amateur Photographer magazine. Great timing too as it’s #StereoscopyDay today! We’ll be doing a presentation on Zoom at 7.30 tonight - full details at https://t.co/W1zWXlaIaq . Hope to see you there!
My heartfelt congratulations to this wonderful man on his much-deserved knighthood for services to music and charity. I am so proud of and happy for him! Here he is onstage with QAL this Summer, and campaigning for wild animals with his Save Me charity in 2015.

Brian May's new book, "Stereoscopy is Good For You", is out now! I'm honoured to have some of my photos in it, & I felt equally honoured to be at the press launch on Tuesday evening (ph. 1 & 2). Last night was a private viewing event for the photographers in the book (ph. 3 & 4).
A final set of stereos from Queen + Adam Lambert's last show, bringing their European tour to an end in grand style. A thoroughly wonderful tour to have witnessed several times from the opening night in Belfast to this closing night in Tampere!
All for cross-eye viewing.
A different viewpoint for my next Queen + Adam Lambert show, which was the first of two in Tampere, Finland last week. I was in a seat forming part of the stage backdrop & it was great to see it like this as a one-off. Same excitement and great music of course!
All for X-eye.
Time for more Queen + Adam Lambert!
These were taken at their Copenhagen show on 18 July - the 2nd of two at the Royal Arena. Just brilliant!
This was my first trip abroad since February 2020 & it was good to be back discovering new countries - this was my 1st time in Denmark.
Tansy Beetle (Chrysolina graminis).
This exquisite little Beetle is very rare in the UK. The only place it can be seen in any numbers is on the banks of the river Ouse in York. Small populations may exist in other areas but York is the main place to see them.
For X-eye viewing.
The final set from the last Queen + Adam Lambert show that I went to - at the O2 in London on 18 June. It's hard to believe that was over 2 weeks ago! These UK shows have been simply wonderful, and well worth the 2.5 year wait (from ticket purchase to gig actually happening)!
