@iamrobtv A shit story but everything else being great (how it sounds from you at least) and giving it a 5/10 from that is certainly interesting. I thought the story of Crimson Desert was one of the worst I’ve ever played in a video game and that’s still a solid 7.5 or 8 game to me.

@PThrizzle @G27Status I always find people’s different experiences with souls likes really interesting. I found Lies of P to be one of the easiest souls likes I’ve ever played. Found Elden Ring to be harder. Hardest I’ve ever played is probably OG Dark Souls 2 though.

@Erpege92 @G27Status I also think the argument I’ve seen some people make of “Fable has never been that long” is meaningless. The last Fable was 16 years ago, people expect more from games nowadays, especially open world RPGs.

@G27Status While I agree (I think most 100+ hour RPGs never need to be that long) 20-40 hours for an RPG of this scale seems short to me by today’s standard. I’d hope for maybe about double that length to 100% it

@medster101 GTA is extremely unrealistic. I don’t particularly mind this, but unless they are going for a life sim and also add the hunger meter and stuff from RDR2 this seems pretty silly.

@G27Status I left the Xbox ecosystem when the One came out. Just felt like the PS4 and PS5 was better in most aspects. I still think it’s likely that Sony is going to have better exclusives as time goes on, but outside of that Xbox is making some good moves.

I mostly play PC now, anyways

@PlayStation For all of those yelling at the no disc no buy just remember to NOT buy this game either. Even though it’s on a disc, if you go out and continue to support PlayStation they won’t care. If they see an actual drop in sales between now and Jan 2028 then maybe they will say something

@NopeSignal Depends on the chain. Regal for instance turns the projector off if there are no ticket sales for the showing. Huge waste of money to keep those bulbs going and burning if there is no money being generated for it.

@HazelMoore32 I’ve never worked at a place that had free food on breaks, nor would I expect to. Typically it’s a discount, which I bet is the same here.
