क्या सचमुच प्यार है?

शादी में एक लड़की का घर, लोग, रिश्ते और पूरी ज़िंदगी बदल जाती है। किसी को प्रेमहीन रिश्ते में डालना तनाव और अवसाद का कारण बन सकता है। सच्चा इंसान न खुद बंधन में रहना चाहता है, न किसी दूसरे की ज़िंदगी को बंधन में डालना चाहता है।

जीव है भाई, पक्षी है, मुर्गा है। तुम उससे दोस्ती कर सकते हो।

उसे अच्छा लगता है, उसे बुरा लगता है।

कभी किसी मुर्गे या बकरे से दोस्ती करके देखो...

उसके बाद किसी भी मुर्गे को खाना तुम्हारे लिए असंभव हो जाएगा।

मुर्गा हो, बकरी हो, हिरण हो, बत्तख हो, सब एक से लगेंगे।

किसी का माँस नहीं खा पाओगे।

जब आपने कभी किसी प्राणी से मोहब्बत की ही नहीं,
तभी तो कह पाते हो non-vegetarian food।
तुम्हारे हाथ में तो बना-बनाया उत्पाद आ जाता है,
चिकन बिरयानी, कढ़ाई चिकन।

उसके पीछे का तुम्हें कुछ दिखाई नहीं देता।
देखो कि कैसे कटता है मुर्गा, खुश नहीं होता है वो।

उसकी आँखों को देखो, जब उसके प्राण जा रहे होते हैं।

अगर खुद को पशुप्रेमी कहते हो, तो सिर्फ़ कुत्ता-बिल्ली के प्रति नहीं,
सारे जानवरों के प्रति करुणा रखो।

इसके लिए आपमें बोध होना चाहिए, विवेक होना चाहिए,
ताकि आप जानवरों को भी निस्स्वार्थ होकर चाह सको।
