i've seen some bad apples in Valko community & its disheartening to see how these few people affected what other people view us Valko girlies as, despite the massive kind effort we've done in the name of Valko. so please take note of below & lets try to improve ourselves:

- do not undermine the existence of other love interests

- do not dictate what others should or should not do with the game they loved

- you may encourage the ongoing boycott but do it in a respectful and general way by not pinpointing to other mains especially solo mains. remember, boycott is a choice & voluntary, do not push this to people who already refuse to do so. we stop and move on.

- avoid toxic behaviour

- remember "love is more powerful than hate" this has been upholding Valko's movement from the beginning so start setting an example as someone that people want to see and feel encourage to help with the cause, not as someone that people would avoid.

i've said this before, we're not here to fight other mains, we're here to fight for Valko, so kindly keep that in mind 🙌🏻

Just to vent into the void for a sec, but I think one of the main reasons this has affected me so much is because I treat lads like a visual novel. With Valko’s cancellation, it’s like just as I got to the final chapter of part one, the book was ripped out of my hands by ppl who never even bothered to read past the first couple of pages.

Not knowing abt Valko sooner doesn’t make him any less integral to MC’s story. Not every important character has to be established in the first few chapters. It’s like demanding Aragorn or Legolas be taken out of the lotr just bc we didn’t meet them earlier on in the Shire. It just wasn’t the right time yet.

That’s my biggest reason for wanting Valko back. Without him, they’ll have to retcon two years of work on MC’s story. Two years of carefully placed hints, symbols, references to mythology/folklore, and little emotional moments that make the story actually worth reading. I’ll never be able to read the story and not wonder what parts of it were supposed to be his.

My heart goes out to the writers. I can’t imagine how much they must be grieving rn. What a colossal waste of time, money, and talent.
