Drake wanted K Dot blackballed and he assumed the culture was gonna back him in that beef. He assumed he would have majority of the streams and popularity out of the beef for the entire thing to legit blow up in his face.

And now with him wanting a new record deal, his value as an artist is diminished because of his lack of talent as an artist, his subpar albums as of late, and the fact that he’s not seen as the “Golden Boy” of hip hop anymore.

He’s having a midlife crisis and he’s not even 40 yet. Losing the beef was probably the straw that broke the camel’s back because Drake literally cannot get away from hearing anything about that damn beef now.
