Election results from tonight's just-released results in Alaska. View more at visualization types at https://t.co/sM4rfW07Mi
Thanks to @FairVote for uploading these results for us!
Great visualization of the #Alaska results. The new Alaska model enfranchised all Alaskans regardless of party affiliation (Alaska is about 60% UAF). When you give people a chance & an opportunity to choose their elected leaders, they respond & they engage.
Mmmmm... pie charts. My second favorite kind of pie, behind pumpkin.
But seriously: people understand #rankedchoicevoting. Give them the chance to use it and they'll want to use it again.

Latest on #DemocracySOS from @DaveDaley3. In many battleground states, such as WI, MI, OH, extreme partisan gerrymanders have led to minority rule that defies the popular will. Anti-democratic coup in the making. Democracy on the ballot in 2022 & 2024

Thrilled to see Alaska use #rankedchoicevoting today. Better elections lead to better outcomes. All of us deserve to be represented and RCV makes it fairer for all of us (red/blue/purple).
The 2023 South-by-Southwest #sxsw conference could feature a panel with @fairvote's @Rob_Richie, @RepRaskin & Harvard's Danielle Allen @dsallentess addressing how best to strengthen our representative democracy. Please vote for SXSW to include it: https://t.co/F1Rzhker0U

I'm so darn proud to be able to say this talking point, and I use it all the time.
Excited for @FairVote's 30th anniversary party in DC July 25, hope other #RankedChoiceVoting advocates can make it.

#BREAKING: @GovKathyHochul has signed into law the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act of NY. The new law builds on the strongest parts of the federal Voting Rights Act and prior state voting rights acts to protect New York voters against discrimination.

Competitive elections in DC are here to stay, and our current system is not serving voters or candidates well. We can do better.
After all that had happened so far this election cycle, I hope voters give ranked choice voting more consideration. https://t.co/8qjE5XExOe

This weekend, we rest. Monday, we grab our coffee, do some power stretching before turning on the laptop, and make 2022 better than 2021. @Rob_Richie#NYE2021 https://t.co/jIODNqXKv6
BREAKING NEWS!!!
The Clark County Charter Review Commission just voted 11 to 4 to put #RankedChoiceVoting on the 2022 ballot!!!
This is all thanks to a groundswell of support from local advocates. Congrats to everyone in Clark County who made this happen!
I come with a confession. #rankedchoicevoting is actually a conspiracy to get certain types of candidates elected.
...the representative ones. And that means conservatives, progressives, and everyone in between.

It's #GivingTuesday and I love the way our organization approaches giving and budgets - strategic & thoughtful.
I'm also saying that as I'm drafting the budget. Please consider contributing to the election reforms that could save our democracy.
