@MaxwellGilber16 I never realized codependency was something that can be diagnosed. Just goes to show how little attention some illnesses receive in contrast to the big illnesses like depression and anxiety. They can easily go unnoticed and untreated. #gtcomics
@Student38751986 So if I read this right, mental illness affects the ability to make decisions for yourself so even if you do things that harm yourself, it wasn't necessarily your decision?? This goes well with the effects of bipolar manic episodes. They make decisions, but not good ones
@Student38751986 I'm curious on what effects are correlated to cannabis use. I know for many its used to self treat certain symptoms of anxiety, so what are its negative effects? #gtcomics
@tbills1102 Are we your audience or just Dr. Misemer? I feel like your beginning here is just directed to her and not whoever may be reading it. #gtcomics
@afcrofton1102 Personally I feel like twins are already not that common so twins specifically with mental illness is a pretty small niche to cater to. I do agree that there is a lot higher of a risk of mental illness if its in your family though. #gtcomics
@VinhDong3 This topic targets Georgia Tech students very well. I immediately had flashbacks to beginning of senior year. I lost twenty pounds that semester due to stress, it was definitely rough. #gtcomics
1. The stigma that still surrounds mental health to this day is a major problem that needs to be addressed by the public and institutions where employees or students may feel the effects of it altering the way in which they can live their lives healthily. #gtcomics
15. So, now that you have the facts go make a difference in your own life and maybe the life of those around you. You may not always know who is suffering so pay attention to your actions, don't enforce the stigma. #gtcomics
