@aditya_gan3500 @neuronsmultiply I frequently see a patient every now and then going to an MD physician for a cold. Come back with a prescription of cefuroxime, levosalbutamol syrup, montelukast, levocetirizine and an OTC cold combination for a fever when his/her weight is around 70 kgs.

@DrShauryaGarg I don't straight away say no to generics. If it is bp med, I ask them to continue the generic if there is adequate bp reduction as when on a branded one. I ask them to f/u more frequently than before until they are on generics. This usually alleviates my as well as their concern

@DrPyaricetamoI There's a huge surge in viral respiratory cases post-covid. Seeing same patients every 2-4 weeks with same complaints. Cost of medicines and frequent consumption of NSAIDs is a big concern. There must be news headlines from NIV so that the doctors and patients are updated.

@nileshnolkha I have been seeing patients take Febux for a uric acid level 0.2mg above ULN, w/o any h/o joint issues or nephrolithiasis. And most if not all are prescribed by orthopedic surgeons and internists.
Never have I seen such prescriptions from a rheumatologist.
