@pierpi13 They made molds and poured stone compound into it. How they created the stone compound/dust, that is the real mystery. Marcel Cote is on to something but not quite there yet.
I worked at a private equity firm once that allowed employees to get into the IPOs of the companies they bought and were trying to take public again. Cut off to stake the money for shares was a few days before the IPO.
I usually participated and would flip as soon as I could. But there was this one particularly odious company they were trying to take IPO. I declined. AFTER it went public, they were allowing people to get in at the IPO price. Seemed strange… Company was bankrupt relatively soon after.
If it seems too good to be true, like fidelity lowering the cash necessary to participate to basically nothing, then it IS too good to be true.
@TheProjectUnity J you’re still young, you’ll get there. Me being older, I may never get the chance. But I know your documentary on it will give me the next best thing. God speed.
Ah J. You know it was for space travel. They separated the Ba from the Ka, and sent the disembodied soul with the dematerialized body in a streak of light to other planets. They accomplished this through sound. The satellite pyramids were to go to the moons of those distant worlds…
Interested? I have some receipts.
I think ancient humans created viruses, perhaps to defeat all disease, or to extend life. It got out of hand. And killed nearly all humans. The ones that survived were the bushman and cave dwellers that avoided the specific virus simply by being far away from it. Viruses get progressively less virulent. Once the ancient technologists were dead many of the cave dwellers who happened upon the ruined cities died, but because of the less virulent virus, some survived. We are descended from them…
@gazcon We’re still in the last stage of an Ice Age. There are frozen polar caps, in Antarctica, and in the extreme North, at least in winter. No one can stop the warming, it’s natural. And one day the ice caps will come back, and mankind will have nothing to do with any of it.
@OMApproach Just because he’s rich doesn’t make him smarter about anything. He’s moving for the tax benefits, and perhaps to keep an “eye” on Argentina as it’s a vassal state of the US.
@PositivFuturist You’ll be 86’d from the jury. I’ve been called three times, and twice, was in the selection process. Just wear a suit. The defense attorneys will see you and will kick you off the jury.
@DRanchLife In my yard, in semi rural New England, I’ve never seen any ticks in 10 years. I found 3 on me yesterday. It’s another attack, like Covid & the vaccine, and all vaccines. It’s obvious who’s causing it.
There is re-gen braking for Internal combustion engines. It uses hydraulics to store energy instead of a battery. About 15 years ago a few companies were doing it, but you had to give up your warranty to have it installed in a new car because adjustments had to be made to the drive train. So in reality it made sense only after your warranty expired, and once that happened you’re probably not worried about mileage. Once gas went down in price, no one cared and the companies went bankrupt.
Mazda had a few ICE models that did this, but sadly as of 2024 those models are discontinued. Apparently they only got 5% more distance. Though those companies that went bankrupt promised far more savings…
I think the issue is they buy businesses that are already built. Do they build NEW gas stations or hotels? No. This is the disconnect. Indians are buying what an American would have or worked at. This is not debatable.
No need to talk about crazy SBA loans, or Indians’ special “thrift.” They took a piece of the pie…that is the issue.
They could’ve been thrifty in India.
