Dear @inecnigeria , thank you for releasing the results from 3,612 Polling Units in the #Osun Governorship Elections i.e. 95.99% of the results by 2am approx. Please release the results of the remaining 151 Polling Units. We are still watching. We also believe you owe the nation an explanation as to why it took you longer to collate the last 13% of the results than it took to collate the first 87%. Was there a "glitch" ? #Osunvotes2026 #GoNigeria
@fkeyamo@officialABAT 'Agreement is agreement'
People's lives. People's lives tabled like negotiation for loaves of bread.
You used to be respectable.
One day, when you're old and ragged - you'll bend your head in shame for the role you played in this country's ruin.
Do you know that till now INEC has not uploaded all results on IREV. About 95% uploaded. Where are the others?
They don’t matter in the grand scheme because he’s won already but the right thing must be done
It’s damming on INEC.
Tinubu wanted Osun State.
The people came out in their numbers and stood their ground. The idea that Tinubu “sacrificed” Osun to prove some politic point is a lie they want you to believe.
He lost. Plain and simple. The tone has been set: he can be defeated.
Period!!
Osun: When the People Stand, Democracy Wins
I warmly congratulate Governor Ademola Adeleke on his re-election and the good people of Osun State on this important democratic victory. They - Osun people - have spoken with courage and clarity, reaffirming that the power to choose their leaders belongs to the people. Through his commitment to the people, compassion for their needs, and the strength of his work and achievements in office, Governor @AAdeleke_01 has earned their renewed confidence and been entrusted once again with their mandate.
I particularly commend the courageous youths of Osun who rose to the occasion and peacefully defended their democratic mandate. Their vigilance and determination demonstrate that when citizens stand firmly to protect their votes, the forces of good can overcome the forces of darkness.
The lesson from Osun is clear: democracy is strongest when citizens are alert, conscious of their civic responsibility, and determined to ensure that their votes count. Every genuine vote must be respected, and every lawful mandate must be protected.
This is also a clarion call as we approach 2027. Nigerians must remain informed, participate actively, vote, and protect their votes. The Nigerian people are the ones experiencing hunger, deprivation, insecurity, and hardship; therefore, they are also the ones with the power, through their votes, to bring about the change that will end these conditions.
I urge all political actors to place the interests of the people above partisan considerations and to embrace peace, unity, and the rule of law. Elections should never be battles of violence, but contests of ideas, competence, character, and service.
May the Osun experience strengthen our confidence in the democratic process and inspire Nigerians everywhere to remain vigilant and committed to building a just, secure, prosperous, and truly people-centred nation.
A New Nigeria is POssible. -PO
Some of us refuse to get carried away by the #OsunGuber2026 Election result.
The only thing it really proves is that a large voter turnout (43.4% in Osun is high by recent Nigerian standards) is the best antidote to rigging and that we must all join hands to hold @inecnigeria's "feet to the fire 🔥"
As at 8.50am on the day after the elections (today), INEC's IREV had 98.35% of the results uploaded instead of 100%. INEC must still explain why they have NOT uploaded the results from 62 Polling Units out of 3,763 Polling Units i.e. notwithstanding the fact that those results are now largely inconsequential because Governor @AAdeleke_01 has already won.

Osun was won at a high price. Nearly 30 lives were lost to keep evil from having its way. May the souls lost in Osun rest in God’s peace and those responsible for such macabre murders come to judgement. The price of Liberty is eternal vigilance. Aluta continua through January
.....If not for Davido's back-to-back awareness, INEC would have rigged Adeleke out. Have you seen what an influencer actually does and means?Tea-nubu's men are now explaining governance instead of showing it. A government That campaigned in poetry , but governing in https://t.co/jebzrRCOym takeaways from Osun State election:
- If you have PVC or not, come out massively on Election Day. It will be extremely hard to rig votes if you vote, make sure it’s uploaded & defend your vote
- We are still a long way from getting election right
- Your votes matters, if it doesn’t, they wouldn’t budget billions to buy them
Lastly, Bola Ahmed Tinubu can be defeated if Nigerians want him out.
@VillageParrot@muyiwa_50138 From most of the replies, it's clear that Tinubu has really destroyed this country extensively!
Otherwise, how can some people think that he means well for them, even in the face of devastation the country is facing?
Education is really no scam!
Tribalism is a disease....
The reason why ADELEKE triumphed is that voters came out 43% percent is better than the recent voter turnout
If at least 60m people come out in 2027 the elections will be too big to rig
Nigerians must come out
