“History remembers those who inherit institutions. Legacy remembers those who improve them.”
We have all lived the reality of a Union that sometimes feels distant from the very people it exists to serve. We have all asked, in one form or another, whether things can truly work better.
Building a better Students’ Union will not happen by accident. It will not come from noise or chance. It must be built deliberately. With clarity ,with structure , with discipline. And with a deep understanding of what students actually experience every day.
Because a Union that is truly responsive to our realities, committed to our welfare, and bold enough to shape a better future cannot be improvised. It must be designed.
This evening at 6:15PM , that design begins to take form.
Not as promises. Not as assumptions. But as an intentional declaration of what we believe a Students’ Union should become, and how we intend to build it with you.
Auspicious Unilorites, this is not just an announcement. It is an invitation to witness the beginning of something we intend to build together, brick by brick, value by value, decision by decision.
Join us as we formally declare our intention to pursue a future defined by clarity, responsibility, and a Better by Far Union worthy of a university ranked first in Nigeria, among the top in Africa, and counted among the leading universities in the world.
The future will not respond to wishful thinking. It responds to those willing to build it.
Tonight, we begin.

My good brother, do you have anything against him ?
Do you think he hasn't done better than expected ?
You can write whatever you think objectively without going all those iya oloja vibes .
Someone posted my story on TikTok and it got 1.2 million views. 🤯
Everybody is using my story for content and engagement, yet they don't reach out to support or help me. It's really sad. 💔😔

POWERING EFFICIENCY: OUR COLLECTIVE JOURNEY TO PROSPERITY♟️!
Efficient Unilorites,
For four years, I have served you diligently from the grassroots to the core of executive administration. From my time as LSS PRO to my tenure as your 38th SU PRO, I have learnt our Union’s mechanics, identified the gaps, and mastered the bridge between student needs and institutional realities.
Today, I am ready to take that experience to the next level and it is on this premise that I, ADAM MOZEED (ZEED) humbly declare my candidacy for the office of the 39th Executive President of the University of Ilorin Students’ Union.
Let me drop this here. Surviving 42 days in a kidnappers’ den was not easy, I thank God I survived. 🙏🏽
On the second day after I was kidnapped, we were trekking deep inside the bush when we got to a hill. The leader told everyone to stop and wait, so we all sat down. After a while, he called me over and handed me their small phone. He told me to call my mum and tell her to send ₦5k for data to his MTN and Glo lines.
I then told him, “Oga, I can help you do the data with my phone.” Fortunately, he agreed and handed my phone back to me. Luckily, there was network coverage at that location.
The moment I got my phone, I quickly transferred ₦19,000 from my UBA account to my Opay account so I could have access to funds. These people don’t use their personal numbers to call victims’ families, so I knew I had to act fast.
I immediately subscribed to data on both his MTN and Glo lines. As soon as I finished, he collected my phone and told me to go back and sit with the other victims.
This is just one of many things I experienced during those 42 days in captivity.
My story was never a lie, and I have absolutely no reason to lie about such a painful ordeal. Everything I share here is 100% true. I lived through it, and by God’s grace, I survived to tell the story. 🥹🙏🏽
About two weeks after I was discharged from the hospital, during my recovery process, I kept remembering that moment. I later checked my Opay transaction history, found the number, and tried reaching the bandit leader.
He picked up once, and I confronted him verbally.l and curs£d him. After that period, the number no longer went through again.💔😓
"Now in Imo state, we generate, transmit and distribute electricity. We have provided electricity to the various industries around the state capital, connected electricity to the senatorial headquarters of Imo State under phase 1. We at the state capital enjoy 24 hours electricity provided by Imo state."
- Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodinma speaking at the Invest Lagos 3.0 Opening Ceremony.
I want to place a million naira bet with anyone on this platform. If INEC recognizes Mr. Ladi Hassan in a week’s time when the names of the gubernatorial candidates will be published, and if Ladi’s name is not published, I will collect one million naira from whoever is willing to bet with me.
I have been watching his pictures and videos on my phone while he participated in all the processes that led to Kale Kawu’s emergence as the consensus candidate. He signed an agreement under the Wike-led PDP, but after falling out of favor, he then realized the Turaki-led “association” is the original. He has only disgraced his children because he buried his integrity at old age.
70yr old man 😂😂
The main reason why southerners frown at Mass wedding by some governors in the North is not because of any genuine concern but only that they feel it gives the north a population advantage over them.
How many percent of the Northern population stems from Mass wedding ? A very insignificant number.
Go deal with your problems and leave people to their own.
Population is never a disadvantage.
