@BrickTop187@Julian_BO4 A red card results in an automatic 1 game suspension. Any player being exempted from that is unheard of. Especially in a running competition.
@LazyReade3@SilverFox235 „Current Germany“ was founded in 1949 after it was first united in 1871. That makes it technically younger. Find me a person who genuinely thinks my country is only 150 years old.
@heatonmitch_@fortelabs Who is this „everyone“ you are talking about? It’s ok if you don’t watch football outside the World Cup.
That’s a red card. The consequence of a red card is: You can’t continue and you miss the next game.
And yes the exception for CR7 was BS.
@fortelabs There are at least 10 companies being founded this week trying to solve this.
There is no problem they are solving.
The Pitch is in the name: Todoist. Not Projectmanageit.
@NutmegStOfMind@hermanoturco@memyselfandi006@f95 Sadly also true for my club, on the other hand: Getting something approved to be built in Berlin is a fight and a half with the added bonus that Berlin would like to keep Hertha as a tenant.
@NutmegStOfMind@hermanoturco@memyselfandi006@f95 He is lying - they got demoted this season. And they don’t own this ground. The chances of them playing 3rd tier football in this stadium are almost zero.
@V_WESTEND@dernis21 Schon witzig.
@hinrichbo@EC_AVService Ok now, it clicked. Yea. That's not good. But honestly? It is a security risk if that stuff goes off-device either way. Even if it goes to Apple. But they deems their service superior and better protected. If an Android user texts me our data will be on Apples servers - no choice
@hinrichbo@EC_AVService The DMA currently does not extend to individual Apps at this moment. Apple, Alphabet and Microsoft are currently suffering from success. Since they won their markets you can not work around their platforms. They are being treated as defacto monopolies. They kinda are.
@hinrichbo@EC_AVService That is not the point. Apple is not my friend. I happen to like their products. They hold some of MY data. They will share said data with everyone I tell them to and withhold it from everyone else. That’s it. And honestly? I might never flip that switch.
@hinrichbo@EC_AVService Ok I think we are running over the metaphor. What Apple is saying is they will not provide a secure interface that enables other companies to hook into Siri. They are going to eventually. They wanted to ship their locked down DMA-breaching implementation. EU said no.
@cmsj@TimSweeneyEpic@KayJebelli Wow. I have to side with Tim Sweeney. Yes that is what they might do with the users data. Maybe let’s try to regulate what they are allowed to do with that data… oh wait EU already does that.
And even if they did. You missed the critical part where it is user data. Not Apples.
@hinrichbo@EC_AVService You do know that there is nothing BMW can do to stop you from replacing anything in an M3 (including the engine)? So even if this was a relevant metaphor (which it isn't because the tires for example are not digital) - yes, BMW is indeed more open than Apple.
@hinrichbo@EC_AVService It is "influencing the market" which is why they also DO go against other companies
you can find them here: https://t.co/IJtKsSwaoI
you will notice Android and Windows are also included. And so is Meta who was ordered to 200 Mio € last year. https://t.co/USVDrWBrbd
