@CenterParcsUK my son ate the best vegan chicken burger at Hucks. He is autistic and has a fairly limited diet. Thank you for being amazing and having plain pasta on your children’s menus. He doesn’t eat potato 🥔or chips 🍟. He said it “Hit the spot!”
Things I couldn’t do without a TA.
1) Interventions.
2) Support for children who need it in a class of 31.
3) Going to the toilet.
4) Having a friend in class.
5) A warm cup of tea when I come back from break duty.
6) Navigating drama so I can teach.
TAs rock 🤘
@LucyGriff76 When I was at uni, a long time ago, my dad ended up buying a property which we rented out to two others as well as me. I was there for four years. One year in halls, three years in the house. I worked during the holidays to support me through university.
A VERY long shot…but if anyone was on flight BA177 from Heathrow to JFK yesterday (Tues 4 April) at 1.10pm and landing at 3.30pm and found this little fella, there’s a distraught little boy who would love to be reunited with him. Get in touch if you can help. Thanks

Pondering on workload and teacher hours... my husband is a police officer and is always incredulous when I explain to him teachers are expected to work additional hours for no renumeration in order to do the job. He made a good point today...
Tonight is a reminder that you can switch in minutes to join the @NEUnion as your own union has not taken proactive action to address the woeful situation imposed on the teaching profession and join us in creating a bigger voice to strike. We need EVERY teacher #EnoughIsEnough
@FloraSCooper@branwenjeffreys this needs some airtime tomorrow. A headteacher apparently refusing an OFSTED inspection. This could be a pivotal moment in education for current and future generations. Don’t let it pass the BBC by.
If you are are a teacher saying you can’t afford to strike, I agree. I also know my dad had 3 kids (me one of them) and went out to strike so you could have your PPA. Imagine not having PPA. He lost wages for that. And you now Benefit as a teacher.
