@parkmahathey@imststi@Covert_Snowman@DschlopesIsBack Why all the comparisons.
2 different sports with different demands.
NFL is explosive power with pads and a lot of ad breaks.
Its a strategy game of fixed plays, not very fluid.
Rugby is a constant 80 min battle of power, stamina & tactics.
Rugby = circa 3-4x more running.
@LangmanVince And yet Norway still beat the US elite and best athletes in the Winter Olympics coming 1st in the medal table - with 50% more golds than the US.
Population 5.6 million.
Wierd, huh.
@Dastardly001@toro__training@1point_content Maybe he runs 2 miles max a game with tons of breaks.
We got guys like that in every rugby team that will run, hit and tackle for 80 minutes. Some game stoppages but probably run 7-8 miles a game.
If the requirement is only 2 miles, they change the diet & training.
@stoolpresidente Yeah, I always draw a relationship between football & what a country’s neutrality policy was 80 years ago.
I guess therefore you could also draw a correlation between this US player being sent off (rightly or wrongly) & the US isolationist stance in 1939-41.
@stoolpresidente “The US Mens team wouldnt have even taken the field if Belgiums best player was unfairly suspended”
What a load of bollocks.
A virtue untested is not really a virtue.
@PhilipGreenspun@theleylands@RonDeSantis How is it ‘analogous’ - we had a treaty with Poland to defend it if attacked.
It was attacked. We defended it.
Not sure any country in the world can rely on the US honouring it treaty obligations. Apart from Israel.
@GiGiYa26054191@Mr_Andrew_Fox You repeatedly state about Fox asking for more US money.
At no point does he ever state this.
You lack any sort of comprehension skills.
You may be a bot.
If you’re a bot, I can appreciate your software may not be able to cope.
