On February 16, 2026, I visited @LoganPaul and his team at Goldin HQ in New Jersey, USA.
I witnessed the rare PSA 10 Pikachu Illustrator Pokémon card owned by Logan Paul being sold for a world record price of $16,492,000.
But did you know, @MemeStrategy together with Grade10 ripped open 12 first edition Pokémon packs during the stream.
And wouldn’t you know it, Logan Paul pulled a grail, a Chansey estimated at $300k for a PSA 10.
If you understood Pokémon cards, you already know the future of real world assets.
I've always said @Memeland would bridge Web2 and Web3.
Potatoz will be everywhere.
Few understand.
Captainz who stayed: thank you. 🙏
Captainz who left: I get it.
Captainz who'll come back: welcome.👋
There's more coming than just art. No, it's not another 2 year wait.
In 2025 we saw @Memeland prices dip from about 2 ETH per captain to 0.12, despite the team constantly building and communicating. A mix of NFT slump and overall market being poor does't help, among the forever wait for proper PFP art so people can actually rep their NFTs and have a reason to hold one vs trading them like tokens.
I am very prepared to see 2026 bring Captainz well above 2 ETH, with new art, acetrader profitability, MemeStrategy delivering, and much more, and I've picked up 4 over the last week to benefit from this insane dip.
Despite it being a disgusting year for my portfolio I still have so much faith in @9gagceo and @0xChar, and everyone else involved.
Web3 loves founder worship.
@9GAG earned its respect through years of execution, building, scaling teams, and solving real problems.
In Web3, too often it’s granted for token pumps, & CT hype overshadows actual product work.
Don't get me wrong, attention is important for distribution.
But measure them by what they shipped, not what they promised.
Why do I think Memeland NFTs and $MEME are the most undervalued assets in the entire NFT ecosystem (including project-side fundamentals)?
Let’s look at the facts 👇
1⃣ 9GAG has over 200M users worldwide, with 70M monthly active users.
2⃣ Their total follower base exceeds 100M.
3⃣ 1.4B monthly video views across platforms (2.7m views from just 1 Potatoz clip)
4⃣ The team runs a real, revenue-generating business.
5⃣ @MemeStrategy , a listed Hong Kong company under the MEME ecosystem, currently sits at $120M FDV
6⃣ The team keeps shipping: projects like @paybox (in collaboration with @helio_pay, @moonpay, and @dexscreener), plus products such as @stakeland, @memepay, and @acetrader
Yet $MEME’s FDV is only $118M, while
Captainz floor = 0.28 ETH
Potatoz floor = 0.18 ETH and that’s the official 9GAG mascot
📋 Now compare that to other NFT collections:
Moonbirds — 2.8E
Moonbird Oddities — 0.3E
Doodles — 0.8E
Azuki — 1.5E
Cool Cats — 0.33E
Nakamigos — 0.18E
Pudgy Penguins — 7.65E
MAYC — 1.15E
Creepz — 0.6E
VeeFriends — 1.5E
Rektguys — 0.4E
Milady Maker — 1.6E
When you line up the numbers, it’s hard not to see how the entire Memeland ecosystem is heavily undervalued both in product fundamentals and cultural potential
If you know, you know. 🏴☠️
One of the things I’m most looking forward to this Q4.
It’s been almost 2 years since the Captainz remake plan was announced and honestly, I still have so many questions:
- Why take this long? Most NFT projects finish a 10K collection in 3–4 months.
- Why change the artist and bring in a big studio? What’s the endgame behind that level of investment?
- Memeland has registered trademarks like "Traitables", "Traitstore", "Captainz", "Traitpacks" Does anyone have ideas about what these mean?
- And why did the team choose to endure 2 years of complaints, memes, and doubts from the community?
Is it worth it? We’ll find out soon.
I’ve kept my Captainz PFP unchanged for 2 years. It’s basically become my Web3 identity.
And while I keep reminding myself to stay grounded and not expect too much. This remake feels different.
It feels like a turning point not just for the art, but for what Captainz represents.
Whenever that final reveal drops, I think I’ll finally change my PFP again.
And this time, it’ll mean something. 🏴☠️
Only a few understand the impact of @9GAG distribution on $MEME.
We have billions of views & millions of engagement daily.
Under Potatoz IP umbrella, this becomes an unfair advantage, connecting culture to the $MEME economy at scale.
They may not notice it yet. But they will soon. 🥔
This tweet from @9GAG featuring potatoz got 1.2M views in less than 24 hours on one of the worst market days we've seen.
That's mainstream distribution that doesn't rely on markets.
Potatoz and $MEME will be everywhere. 🥔
We're just starting.
This video featuring the Potatoz
IP has already received close to
200K views on @9GAG Instagram
in just 1 hour.
The previous video featuring the
Potatoz IP received 2.5M+ views
in 24h 👀
CT keeps talking about mass
adoption but @Memeland and
$MEME is making that a reality
through 9GAG.
I expect the Potatoz IP to be the
bridge to the $MEME economy.
this interview made me realize something
memeland is probably one of the best-positioned teams in crypto
the more you look at it, the more obvious it gets:
> they have the distribution (9gag)
> they get web3 (been here since 2021)
> and they’ve got the capital to pull it all together
it’s rare to find a project that hits all 3
def worth a watch if you’re even remotely curious about where this space is heading
This is a great breakdown of the @Memeland mentality.
Thank you @SereinScripts for taking the time to put this together, we truly have the best community 🔥
If you’re panicking about Captainz losing attention because Potatoz just became the official @9GAG mascot, Detective Donald is here to reveal the facts:
💡 Facts:
1️⃣ Captainz have already dripped $meme at 3x the rate of Potatoz.
2️⃣ Potatoz alone cannot boost anything in @stakeland. You’ll need a ratio of 1 Captainz for every 3 Potatoz to unlock an extra 690k nMEME boost.
So why did they choose Potatoz as the mascot? Here’s the explanation from @0xChar :
“That potatoz is a fantastic unifier to 9gag, Memecoin and memeland. Through this IP we will show the space the reach and access 9gag opens, access to brands, creators and integrations.
If Potz win, so do Capz and so does the eco."
From my perspective, the clearest utility of Captainz right now is still being the core key to generating nMEME on Stakeland. Even holding just one Captainz unlocks a 690k boost.

the ticker is $MEME
- one of the strongest Web3 communities in NFTs (MVPs, Captainz, Potatoz)
- alongside this, 9GAG is the world’s largest meme platform with 200M+ users and 100M+ followers
- at the core of both is one backbone: CULTURE
- good culture scales distribution → it turns scrollers into holders, and holders into builders
- culture + memes allow onboarding to happen seamlessly, without forcing wallets or gas fees
- the Web2 funnel proves this: 9GAG → Memeland → $MEME → MemeStrategy → one bridge from mainstream to Web3
- historically, distribution was owned by media giants
- now, a single meme can carry more cultural weight than legacy brands
- identity, reputation, and culture are becoming portable across social, tokens, NFTs, and IRL
- the future lies in interoperable culture that spans Web2 distribution, Web3 community, and real-world economy
- combine culture with tokenized ownership, and anyone can: monetize memes, build community without gatekeepers, own distribution instead of renting it
that’s why $MEME isn’t just another token. it’s the index of internet culture and the funnel that could bring 200M users from Web2 into Web3 without them even realizing it.
