🔎 Real-time whale flows: ETH longs rising, shorts under pressure.

Latest whale data from Hyperliquid shows a wave of short position closures on BTC, ETH and SOL. At the same time, new ETH long positions are opening above $1,640.

Shorts still make up a slight majority, at 52.1% of open interest, but margin distribution tells a different story.

Long positions now represent 53.8% of total margin, indicating growing confidence from buyers.

Shorts are still leading in profit, and funding remains in their favor. But with whales unwinding short exposure and opening longs, the current balance might not hold for long.

How stable is the Bitcoin Quantile Model?

Is the model stabilizing over time?

In this analysis, I focused on the 95th Quantile and calculated the slope on January 1st of each year.

I then plotted the results and fitted a regression line with the highest R² value, which was 0.90.

The results clearly show that the 0.95 quantile regression line has been stabilizing over time, from 2014 to 2025.
