@Gogettacs@CatholicDrip___@emmaus_e I'm lost...answer the question then: did Jesus pray to Himself to send Himself? And if so, what does "another" mean in John 14:16?
@bauricironhide@CatahoulaCowboy Try reading again. 1 John 2:1 says "we have an advocate" no capitalization. Not a title, just a description. You say you don't worship her then immediately perform mental gymnastics to transfer the characteristics of Jesus to her. That is called idolatry.
@CatholicDrip___ "We don't worship or pray to Mary. We just give her a title reserved for the Holy Spirit and act like she has the characteristics of the Father with a tiny of mention of Jesus like He needs her help."
Absolute blasphemy.
@AErebus4363@CatholicDrip___ You answered your own question...FULLY GOD. Like hello???? He's God...He can do whatever He wants. You keep trying to impart God's power to Mary...that is called idolatry. She was 100% human from 100% human parents. Nothing divine about her.
@AErebus4363@CatholicDrip___ No where does it say she had to be sinless. At all. Men made that up. Nothing in any of the text even points to that idea. For Mary to be sinless, her entire bloodline would need to be sinless...news flash - it's not. And how do we know that? Because we can trace lineage.
@AErebus4363@CatholicDrip___ If God could not dwell inside a sinner, then explain how He indwells ALL believers who repent and are baptized to be sealed by the Holy Spirit. We all have sinned. He still seals us. Your argument fails. Stop trying to make Mary God. She's not.
@sangrigio@swamthetiber25 Again - did Jesus tell His disciples to do something He strictly forbids? The answer is no. The flesh and blood METAPHOR was explained by Jesus Himself in the same text...I mean seriously. Take the goggles of grooming off.
@AErebus4363@CatholicDrip___ I've read the Bible front to back. No where does it say anyone ever was preserved from sin. It says the opposite. ALL have sinned.
@sangrigio@swamthetiber25 Acts 15:20. That is James...speaking against consuming blood. So no, the disciples did NOT practice the pagan ritual of eating flesh and drinking blood.
@sangrigio@swamthetiber25 Please learn to read. No one said anything about Christ being worthless. Just the opposite actually. Your emotional appeals don't work...get called out for paganism and then make some fake pietous appeal about "reverance to Christ" when you worship everyone and everything but Him
