Just came from the wine symposium, biggest trade show in the wine business. Depletions have tumbled over the last three years to 2008 levels after 40 years of constant growth. Every marketer there was focused on the need for the business to sell experiences, connection, togetherness. Wine, obviously, is a very good tool for that.
