I worked downtown for a decade and felt perfectly safe walking every day at lunch by myself without being accosted like I am now. I won't even park my car down there. The weeds weren't waist high, the graffiti was under control, buildings weren't boarded up, businesses were thriving, it was a fun place to be on Friday and Saturday night... need I go on?

@OwenBenjamin If you drop your insurance while you have your mortgage, they'll just force place and the policy is usually pretty inexpensive because it only covers the lender (no liability). Not giving advice, but it will at least cover the loan as an option 🤷‍♀️
