Our #Siggraph25 work found a simple, nearly one-line change that greatly eases neural field optimization for a wide variety of existing representations.

We unify existing eigenvalue filtering strategies in Projected Newton using insights from the generalized trust region method.
And we show a significant reduction in Newton iterations can be obtained by adaptively choosing the correct strategy based on the trust-region fit.
🚀 Introducing CAT4D! 🚀
CAT4D transforms any real or generated video into dynamic 3D scenes with a multi-view video diffusion model.
The outputs are dynamic 3D models that we can freeze and look at from novel viewpoints, in real-time! Be sure to try our interactive viewer!
📷 Excited to announce the Women in Research Lunch at #SIGGRAPHAsia2024 in Tokyo! 📷 Join us for networking, food, and great conversations with researchers from all fields!

(1/4) There's nothing, better as an advisor, than seeing current and former students crush a SIGGRAPH talk.
Thanks to Yixin Chen, @HonglinChen_ and @vm2358 + collaborators for the awesome experience.

I'm giving a talk at "CG in Japan" in #SIGGRAPH2024!
I'm going to talk about my research history, which makes me feel a bit daunting (and embarrassing) as a junior PhD student. But I'm very proud of the work I did in Japan and my non-conventional career path. Hope you'll enjoy!
Checkout Vismay Modi's Simplicits paper, a mesh-free way to simulate all kinds of geometry representations including neural implicit and Gaussian Splats. This was one of my favourite papers to work on. We managed to do over 100 simulations on all sorts of crazy geometry.
Missed SGP 2024 and want to catch up on the latest in geometry processing research in HD? Want to hear tutorials from leading researchers in the field? Attended SGP and want to relive the magic? Check out the official conference Youtube channel: https://t.co/addU2R2enY
1/ Happy to share our new paper "Surface-Filling Curve Flows via Implicit Medial Axes" at #SIGGRAPH2024!
We introduce a fast, robust and user-controllable algorithm to compute surface-filling curves. 🐍✈️

We cover a lot of ground: Monte Carlo integration, differential equations, Brownian motion, and of course walk on spheres, which nicely ties all these topics together!
