With the Red Wave beat, we’re going to give Republicans exactly what they deserve.
And what they deserve is insulin. What they deserve is healthcare.
You like liberty? Let’s see how you like housing, food and clean water as a human right.
Get ready for what’s coming, assholes.
A woman with chronic pain so severe that she contemplated suicide was denied the medication to treat it because it could jeopardize her potential fetus, even though she isn't pregnant and doesn't plan on having kids. @kylietcheung spoke to her: https://t.co/06qRxKla3q
Republican governors @GovRonDeSantis and @GregAbbott_TX are acting like human smugglers all for political theater. How many human right violations are happening in this process? We need to know!
Women who threw the rest of us under the bus don’t get to be praised for doing the absolute bare fucking minimum after the worst has already happened.

When Kentuckians try to visit Rand Paul’s office in DC, they are regularly turned away.
In Kentucky, Rand Paul only has 1 district office.
In 12 years, he hasn’t introduced a single bill that has passed.
He’s not even trying to do his job. Let’s fire him.
Relieving student loan debt for millions does far more to boost economic prosperity in this country than, say, subsidizing a CEO's next yacht purchase.
And no. I have no loans being canceled. I'm just a guy who believes that societies are better than going it alone.
Cancel student debt. If we can subsidize banks, chipmakers, pharmaceutical companies, big oil, wind and solar manufacturers, telecoms, aerospace, defense contractors, and big agriculture, why not our students?
Because clearly it still needs to be said: Student loan forgiveness is not about irresponsible people taking out education loans and then not paying. These are compounding interest loans: borrowers are struggling because they pay many times OVER what they borrowed and still owe!
Upon graduation I made roughly $35k as a dietitian. Later, I worked a clinical position that required a graduate degree. That pay range maxed out at $45k, presumably until you made manager or added more (expensive) specialty certs that might get you to $50k
45 billed us for everything. We paid for Junior and Kimberly's hunting trips, Eric's business trips to scope out properties, Pompeo, Mnuchin, Ivanka and Jared's wild spending sprees. We paid for all of it and they have a massive issue excusing student education loans 🙄
The nation’s physicians & med students have adopted AMA policy stating access to reproductive health services, including abortion & contraception, is a human right. AMA will also work to expand protections against criminalization of those services. https://t.co/78MAh6BNQF #AMAmtg
“Trying to make hard and fast rules in legislative bodies that apply the same across the board is just incredibly dangerous for patients,” says Dr. Jack Resneck, @AmerMedicalAssn president, on criminalizing the practice of medicine in a post-Roe world.

I first learned about the Tulsa massacre watching Watchmen. I first learned about the Partition watching Ms. Marvel. Both were major events in the last 100 years. It’s sad and a little embarrassing that television had to fill in for the shortcomings of my history textbooks.
If the market were actually competitive, corporations would keep their prices as low as possible as they competed for customers.
Instead, the concentration of the American economy into the hands of a few corporate giants gives them the power to raise prices with impunity.
