But there is one piece of infrastructure every serious blockchain community should understand.

THE BLOCK EXPLORER.

🔹 WHAT IS A BLOCK EXPLORER?

A block explorer is a public search engine for a blockchain.

Think of a blockchain as a digital ledger that records transactions and changes to the network.

The block explorer allows people to read and inspect that public ledger.

It turns complex blockchain records into information that ordinary users, developers and researchers can examine.

🔹 WHAT CAN A BLOCK EXPLORER SHOW?

Depending on the blockchain and its explorer, users can inspect:

▪️ Blocks: The blocks produced by the network, their numbers, timestamps and unique hashes.

▪️ Transactions: The movement of coins between addresses, including transaction IDs, amounts and confirmation status.

▪️ Wallet addresses: Public balances and transaction histories.

▪️ Network activity: Whether new blocks and transactions are being recorded.

▪️ Transaction fees: The costs associated with processing on-chain transactions.

▪️ Validators or miners: Information about block producers, where the network makes that information available.

▪️ Smart contracts: Contract addresses, activity and sometimes verified source code, where supported.

▪️ Supply and distribution: Relevant on-chain issuance, balances and transfers, where the necessary data is exposed.

WHY DOES THIS MATTER FOR MOBILE MINING?

Because there is a major difference between:

A NUMBER DISPLAYED INSIDE AN APP

and

A BALANCE RECORDED ON A PUBLIC BLOCKCHAIN.

An application can display mining rewards from its own internal database.

That does not automatically mean those rewards have already been issued or transferred on-chain.

A public blockchain explorer allows the community to examine the network’s actual on-chain records.

And that distinction matters.

A WARNING TO THE MOBILE-MINING INDUSTRY.

If a project claims its public mainnet is live, its community should reasonably expect a way to inspect that blockchain.

If there is no accessible explorer, no transaction history and no independently checkable network data, transparency becomes much harder to evaluate.

That does not automatically make a project fraudulent.

A project still developing its mainnet may not have a public explorer yet.

But a project claiming to operate a live public blockchain should be prepared to demonstrate it.

Screenshots are not a substitute for blockchain records.

Announcements are not a substitute for transaction hashes.

And promises are not a substitute for verifiable infrastructure.
